She was lovely. The longest lived hen I've had was 10. I think you are doing things right.

I am so sorry you lost her, it's definitely hard on the heart when they pass, especially the old ones. They've been with you for so long, the bond with them is huge. I recently lost an old hen of 14 years. It's tough I know.
