Brand new to raising chickens. In sunny florida. 2 days ago i was talking to a friend that has chickens and it sounded like a great idea and a fun lasting project. So after our conversation i went by the feed store and bought 2 cochins i think and 2 black sex links some chick feed and water dispenser. I came home and built a box with lamp for the chicks. The next morning i started on my coop 4x6 ft coop 6 ft tall with nesting boxes that hang off for added space in the coop and allow easy access to retrieve eggs. Its quite big for tractor style but it will have wheels and im able to move it so i guess it works for me. Ive already got the frame completed and started on the nesting boxes and top floor. I only have access to the internet by my phone so ill post pics when i can get to a computer or if i get internet back at home.......
