Hi.
I hope I am posting in the right place.
My hens are running with a variety of roosters. I am going to seperate the SLW's with the SLW rooster for hatching eggs. How long should I wait to collect eggs to be certain they are from the SLW rooster?

I'd say atleast 3 weeks to be safe. Or that's how long I wait anyway. I don't like surprises when I am not expecting it!!

If you're just hatching them yourself and can deal with the chance of a mutt, about 2 weeks. If you plan to sell them, minimum of 4 weeks, 6 would be better.
