I am a homeschooling mom of 4 and we just started raising chickens so I will have a TON of questions, I am sure! Right now we have 8 baby egg layers (between 6-7 weeks old-- had 9 but a cat got one of our baby Orpingtons ) and were given 3 adult naked necks. We will be butchering our first set of meat birds in a week and a half, then we will do 12 more the end of June and we are about to order 25 more!! We also were given 4 guineas... not sure if we like them yet or not LOL!
