I can't find anything desent thats not sooooo expensive.

I have 3 buff orpingtons and i love them!
They lay me eggs all winter! But they are a heavy bird.
You have to watch they dont over heat if its hot by you.

Thanks! what kind of chickens do you have? I'm still not sure. I'm thinking about mabey 2 buff ophingtons and 2 easter eggers.

At the moment i have 3 Speckled Maran and 3 Sussex one black and 2 white, all are good layers. Very comical. If i walk away without giving them their treat of corn they soon make a noise and remind me. Bit like kids with a bar of chocolate lol. If you want the eggs just ask and make sure they are good layers my friend got some bantams but they do not lay regular so she has them more for show, went out and bought more. Like us all started with 2 now has 6. They soon grow on you.
