Hello from Maiden, NC. Our new flock of little ones is 5 weeks old today and 19 strong. Thanks to our generous supplier we ended up with 8 golden comets, 4 buff orpingtons, 4 arucana/americaunas, 1 black sex link, 1 white leghorn and a golden laced wyandotte. Expecting a loss or four and having none (woo hoo) we obviously over ordered the day-old chicks. Thankfully we have a large coop and run for the ladies so space shouldn't be an issue. This is our first experience in raising chickens and we are super excited about the BYC resource. Thanks for having us in the community and have a wonderful day!
