Good morning from rockmart ga! I've had chickens for awhile that we've inherited from my parents when we bought their house. They free range. I really enjoyed gathering the eggs and thought I would get more involved. The chickens we hav are game chickens which can be mean but they've cross bred and gotten better. This week I purchased some Easter eggers and domineckers. I have to repair my coop from the last storm we had but will hav them here this weekend. I'm very excited about my new hobby. We plan to really utilize the 13 acres God has blessed us with. Gardening, canning, raising chickens and lots of other exciting things! Oh...and Lake stands for Levi, Asher, ken and Erica. My first name is Erica but I go by Nicole. My husband came up with it last year when canning some figs. We also were blessed with a lake to fish in on our home. Hence the name!!!
