(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've had my girls for about 9 months.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 6. 3 Hylines and 3 Isa Browns, but I'm looking at getting a few more once our new coop is finished.
(3) What breeds do you have?
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
A friend told me about the site.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Craft, gardening and photography.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married, have 2 kids (4 and 2), a Border Collie and a very old cat. We love in the South West of WA and quite like the quiet country life! We got our girls when we moved out to this house from town, and I've grown very fond of them. Who knew chickens were so inquisitive! They follow me to the gate to get the mail, try to jump in the car while I buckle the kids in and are quite hilarious little creatures.
My av is my fav chook Scarlett. She comes to check if the cat and dog have eaten all their food every day!
