Hiccuping Chicken

One of my hens started hiccuping a little over a week ago. I assumed she was just eating or drinking too fast. Then realizes she also has diarea. her breathing is clear except for when she hiccups, no runny nose or eyes. I gave her some nutridrench and electrolytes for the first time today and soon as I gave it to her the hiccuping got worse!!!!

I've never had a chicken that did this...so I am not sure what is going on or what I should do?

I wonder if it is a crop issue....


I only once had a crop issue, and that chicken I tried to correct it, but failed, so I decided to butcher her.


Sorry that I am no help, but search "sour crop" and "impacted crop" and that sort of thing, see if that sounds like what your hen has.

The only time I have seen hiccoughing in a hen she had eaten something and it was partially lodged in her throat. She drank liquids to try to get it down.
