Crowing
So I've just hatched a few silkies and satins from my blue/splash pen-
I'm getting blue and splash but 1-2 of the chicks have a brownish tint almost like a mauve?
Both parents don't show chocolate or mauve (At least not to me), they're just look blue and splash. I can ask, and will- The blue roo could be split, but I didn't think hens could be so I'm not sure what she'd be hiding.
Maybe it isn't mauve and something entirely different at play?

 Her crest is trimmed, her brown wings I believed was from being in the sun, but maybe not?

Just some extra information, a few months back I hatched eggs off her when she was in with one my lemon blue project cochins- She hatched this weird mauve splash rooster (Could just be rusty blue or a leaky splash, I was told something like that could be at play.)
