Follower grinned. "I didn't make a promise. Neither did my friend."

Dust followed the scent for a while more before stopped. He shifted in order to speak."They took to the sky." He said simply.

Zia puffed up and growled, for she thought he was serious. She went back under the bed and lay flat, growling, grunting, and hissing.

Absmi bowed and said, "It would be my pleasure." She then lead the way to the castle.

Thorn growled then turned to Hpur. "Go back and get Princess Elina! She can fly and find them."

Hpur bowed and said, "Yes, General Thorn! " He then took off at a steady run.

Thorn walked around the area as they waited.

Degan chuckled softly at Zia's continued sounds and her threatening behavior. He was greatly enjoying himself.

Kristen clung onto Orson's hand as she hid in the nest. She kept her breath deep and even as she tried to minimize the noise she made. She saw something move in the nest. It was a little snake. She couldn't tell what kind it was but it was, but it was multicolored and scary. She stepped back carefully but she stepped on something that was moving.......

Taylor's face was red and blotchy from tears and now anger. A moment ago she didn't even care about the lead but now she needed it. She stepped on his foot so he face planted in the dirt. She smiled down at him,"Timber."

Orson saw the larger snake and covered Kristen's mouth before she could scream. He held her gently and made a soothing sound.

Nashton looked up at Taylor with his dirt encrusted face. He got to his feet and started after her with intent, when Zypher grabbed him and held him back. "Easy son! We all have to drive back in the same van together and smelling skunk, wouldn't make it any easier." Zypher reasoned

Taylor wiped away her tears quickly, and stared at the ground, embarrassed.

While the snake was distracted, Sergio grabbed it, as she shifted to her gargoyle form. She bit it's head off and chewed it thoughtful. She smiled at Kristen and said, "Spicy, my favorite kind."
Orson chuckled lightly as he listened and watched the forest in the distance.

Zypher then looked to Taylor and scolded, "This out burst could have got all of us killed. This is not a game, but shifters lives." He looked back at Nashton disappointed, "I expected more of you, Nashton. Don't you remember the prison? This isn't a game, boy. You can't just press a reset and everyone come back to life and lives to fight another day. We get one shot and that it. You have to morn the losses and move on. I don't want to loose any of us, but if this happens again, we could. Do you both understand? Because if you can't be an asset, then you're a liability and we don't need that." He released Nashton and walked away.

Perhaps it wasn't kind at all, Calystia thought as she concluded that he was only obeying General Watson. As she leaned back against the cell bars she wondered why he was so mean to her since she had done nothing to upset him.

"Was it true though?" She asked, seeing him as a man of honor, and one who wouldn't dare do anything to disgrace his name.

Calystia closed her eyes as she rested but they quickly fluttered open as she leaped away from the cell bars. Her mouth hung open in pain. She lowered slowly to the floor, closing her eyes and hugging her knees to her chest at as the pain slowly disapated. What hurt most is that it had been amusing to him.

A lynx with a newt wearing armor made out of tin cans riding it ran into the clearing. The newt was holding a tiny sword. "RAAAHHHHH!" The lynx kitten roared. "We came to- oh." They stopped. "Were late.." (Yet again, another rescue party is late.) Laki jumped off Io's back and shifted into a human, in this form she was not wearing any armor but she still had a sword. Io shifted too.

He looked out the window and watched the scenery, since she was playing the victim again. That was both boring and tedious.

Calystia managed to reach her bed. She curled up and closed her eyes, keeping her back to Raymer. She laid completely motionless as she pretended to be asleep, but was deeply thinking. When first caught, she realized, she had acted ignorantly. She was scared it had acted for first with thoughtfully planing. Now she cleared her mind, and organized her thoughts, hoping to find fault in Raymer security so that she might escape.

Andromeda felt her cheeks burn. "No, not at all." She said carefully backing away from him until she was a safe distance from him. "I find it strange how one moment your distant and quiet and now here you are eagerly share your story with a complete stranger." She looked down and lowered her voice. "I suppose I am jelous. Sometimes I wish I could tell someone about my past and share my feelings with them but find I don't have the strength."
