Chirping
Aaran smiled cruelly. They couldn't get out unless he wanted them to. He caused the ice to freeze the doors shut and thicken around the wheels. When the ice grew over him this time he didn't stop it. He was a freak of nature. He shouldn't exist. Maybe it was better this way. The ice grew up to his waist.
Alika stepped out from behind a tree and ran towards him, wanting to help. "Help?" She asked, her voice had a strong Greek accent. By "Help" She was asking if she could help him.
(Just in case you didn't see my posts, she was hiding behind a tree, trying to figure out who was creating the ice)
"Don't touch me." He closed his eyes,"I could hurt you. Like I hurt him." He said thinking of Rex's brother.
She looked at him. She racked her brain to think of the words she wanted to say. "You'll die!" Alika finally said. A tree branch bent and it's ice fell apart. All she had to do was have the branch grab him and crush the ice that covered him.
"I don't deserve to live." He opened his eyes and stared at her,"I killed someone. This is my punishment. So that I can't hurt anyone anymore." The ice crawled up his waist.
She didn't really understand what he meant, but she guessed he was doing this on purpose. She didn't know what to do, she didn't want to anger him. "Please?" She begged. "This isn't good!"
(She doesn't really know English, if you haven't noticed XD)
(I noticed but he didn't)
Aaran stared at her. She was beautiful beyond anything he had ever seen. He slowly nodded,"Okay I'll stop." He struggled to regain control and the ice stopped inching up but it didn't go down.
She smiled at him. A tree branch came down and grabbed him, crushing the ice but not hurting him. It put him back down and stayed perfectly still again. "Okay?" She asked, asking if he was alright.
He smiled at her,"Yes." He felt happy she had come. Ice tendrils wrapped around the branch that had freed him, and froze the SUV's tires to the ground.
Rex was trying to start the SUV. They had to get out of there. The engine finally sparked to life with a loud roar. He slammed it into gear, but it wouldn't move. He pressed the gas gas pedal harder, the engine revved loudly, but they didn't budge an inch. "What's the problem!" Eric demanded.
