Delores saw some movement out of her office window. She thought maybe some shifters escaped. She got up and went outside, looking around.

She slithered behind her house, looking around and smelling the air.

Echo flinched at her coming closer. He hoped she didn't notice.

Larry looked at the water, not knowing what had happened. He looked down into the water and didn't see Vaughan, he saw a person. He put his arm in the water, hoping he could reach it.

Keldwyn followed eagerly.

Vaughan looked up at Larry, as he slowly sank to the bottom of the pool. Was couldn't breathe for some reason. But he instinctively knew not to draw in water.

Mortem froze suddenly, something was near. She was standing right in front of Echo, she could sense it. She reached out her hand to grab whatever was near, and she grasped his arm and held it tightly. There was cloth on him...She knew what it was, she knew about wizards and their sneaky magic. She pulled the cloak off of Echo and looked at him.

Finally they reached the very middle of the lake and Sirène started to swim down quickly, eager to see her family.
