"NO!" He willed the sword to fly far away from them,"Princess, don't touch that." He said sternly,"That could hurt you." He stared her down refusing to answer her questions,"Once I have the spell, I will have no need of my powers." He willed the sword to drop and shatter,"The details of my powers do not matter. I do not need magic to do work."

Elina stood before Aaran in defiance. She met his cold stare, with one of her own. "Careful, Aaran. King Racine has not said yes, yet." She said tonelessly.

"And my oath doesn't take effect until I get my spell." He growled. Ice started gathering around his feet,"If I were you I'd get back to my force field." He glared at her,"Or you might get hurt. And nobody would want a pretty face like yours to get all scratched up." He mocked coldly.

Kristen melted into his arms. She savored every moment, and wrapped her arms around him. She shivered happily and twirled softly in return.

He whispered words of love in his native tounge, into Kristen's ear.

"What does it mean?" She asked softly,"It's beautiful. I'm afraid all I can say is this:" She twirled.

"And my oath doesn't take effect until I get my spell." He growled. Ice started gathering around his feet,"If I were you I'd get back to my force field." He glared at her,"Or you might get hurt. And nobody would want a pretty face like yours to get all scratched up." He mocked coldly.

"Oh, but you misunderstand. You asked is anyone was brave enough and I stepped forward. Here I am. If all you see is a pretty face, then you are as much a fool, as mortal men. You control ice, but what do you think this bearded tigress controls? For King Racine values me as his right hand, so I must be more then just a pretty face. Power is everything, is it not?" Elina returned. She then started gathering her powers, charging the air with electricity the small crown on her head glowing like a jacobs ladder.

"We must be speaking of different dragons, Nightmare is only evil to those she sees as a threat" Aurora said curiously

Star smiled again, blushing a little as she looked back to the books again "I could feel how special it is there. We went to get some leaves for me and my friends to carry with us then we just sat and listened to the waterfall speak for a little while."

Ember chuckled and shifted back to her human form again, watching the infant in Taylor's arms.

Bob turned his attention back to his food. He peeped softly in between bites.

Taylor cradled the bird and laughed softly. The laughed turned into a wheeze and she struggled to catch her breath. Her breathing slowly returned to normal.
