Rosie looked to him and smiled softly "Ah, not bad, just a little bit of crisp to the edges. "That smells good. I think it's about done now"

"Taylor?" Anna looked to her as she went to her knees then frowned at a thought she had "Your sister was shot with eight tranquilizers, not knocked out with gas, lay down and be calm, this shouldn't affect you the same way"

Aurora nodded and threw a blast of fire at the van so she and Jason could move. She headed for the entrance to get beyond the van, and the relative safety there.

Jason took the moment to run for the van they had come in, looking in the back for the grenades that should have been there. He grabbed a couple then threw one towards the door to the trap and another at the human's van before taking off for the entrance.

Ember was no where in sight during this mad dash. She had gotten hit by a dart and was asleep, still on the roof.

Star was surprised at her first taste of jealousy when Falkirk had called to the other female, though she quickly pushed the odd feeling away from her mind and smiled at the newcomer. "It is nice to meet you too Daphne" She said softly, laughing a little at their playfulness.

Jackie smiled at her and sat up to lean against the headboard "I couldn't let you be captured. You are my friends now" She said gently. 

"Oh, good. It'll just add to the flavor." He said with some relief. "I'll just go and take the foil off the macaroni and cheese to brown it. That way the steaks have time to rest." He said as the took everything up and put it on the plate.

Zypher was listening to Anna, when an explosion sounded at the doorway. He covered his head to protect it. (Did it open the door? You can run front for awhile, if you want. I like following your lead. )

Cadeon stayed low on Aurora's back. He was very concerned about Ember. He didn't know where she had gone to. He had a sickening feeling, something bad had happened.

Daphne smiled knowingly at Star and shook her head. "We are childhood friends, there is nothing more there. Fear not. Besides, Falkirk only had eyes for you, Princess Star. He has in a sense, came alive since you have arrived home." She explained simply.

Falkirk blushed slightly at Daphne's reveal. "I...Um" his words failed him.

Sergio looked down at her hands and slowly walked to the bed and sat down. "So you're not mad at being stuck with me? I'll try to provide for you and prove to be worth the trouble. " She said softly, as she glanced up at Jackie.

Aaran covered the sword with ice then sent it flying out of Thorn's hands into his. "If you were a stench filled human it'd be an improvement." He growled,"Anything is better than you. Even the stupid Oilin's human."

Thorn spelled a small power bolt and sent it flying at Aaran. "Watch yourself, ice boy. I'm not without means!" He said through clenched teeth.

Ericsson cursed his neglect of their dinner. Some cook he was. He ran to get something to pour onto the coals to cool them down a bit. He came back with a bottle of beer. He drizzled some and the fire died down, as flavorful steam seep up to the meat." There, disaster diverted! How bad is it?" He asked a bit embarrassed.

Zypher nodded as he looked around for any other vents. Then did as Anna instructed. "Yes, let's give them a welcome party, they'll never forget. " He said darkly with a growl. He looked over at Taylor and saw her freaking out. "Taylor! What's the matter? Just stay calm, you breathe less air that way." He explained.

Markus snarled at the camera interruption. He wanted to see his victory over the brine of his existence. "The Ghost is finally caught ant I can't even watch it. Who knew the female wolf I caught and let get away, would yield search rewards! Go get them, I've waited a long time for this. Do not mess this up!" Markus ordered his men.

Cadeon looked over at Jason unsure. He was the important one, Cadeon knew he was expendable. But he was the alpha and therefore, he followed orders. " Just be careful, Jackie. Luce will kill me if anything happens to her hunk of burning love." He replied as he made a mad dash for Aurora. He climbed up onto her back and stayed low. "Aurora! Jason wants us at the entrance. Can you make that possible? " He asked worriedly. He then glanced around to see where Ember was.

Falkirk saw his friend walking by and flagged her down. "Daphne! Come meet Princess Star."


Daphne turned at her name and smiled pleasantly surprised at Falkirk's offer. She quickly walked over and curtsied to Star. "Princess Star, what a pleasure it is to meet you." She said formally. She then straightened and grinned at Falkirk in a teasing way."You see, I'm not high enough in ranking to be a royal. So I must wait for an official introduction. Falkirk likes to keep me waiting." She explained to Star jokingly.


Falkirk looked at Daphne. "That's not true at all and you know it." He said with humor.


Daphne just grinned widely at them both. "Ah, you're no fun." He said with a pout.

Sergio manifested in the spark of light. She looked shyly at Jackie and said, "Thank you for saving us."

Orson sensed Kristen's closeness and he drew her in closer to him. He twirled softly in contentment at having his mate safe in his arms.

Azure sat with her back against the door. "Please," She cried weakly, "He's going to kill." much fear filled her voice. She cued Vaughan with her eyes to come chase her, if not it might not look right.

Idris slowly woke. After a time her eyes fluttered open, scanning across the room. She then quickly sat up, wondering were she was.

Raymer saw the sadness in her eyes and whispered, "fear not, we'll try again tomorrow when he's gone. I promise." He then stood up and locked the cage door again.

Vaughan nodded at the prompting. He said loudly, "You leave! This is my pool and you can't live here! You're not getting my food either! I'll hurt you more then I have, if you don't leave." He then looked to Azure for approval.

After a few more minutes, Sandor stood up and headed for the kitchen to make some liquid wake up.

She nodded in response. "Do you think they'll come back before they leave to watch me shift?" She asked a little afraid.

Azure secretly gave him a thumbs up. She scrambled to her feet crying, "Please, please don't hurt me. I don't want to be here!"

Idris let feet falling over the side of the bed as she looked around.

The bolt hit Aaran and he fell to his knees writhing in pain. Blisters start popping up all over his skin. When the moment of agony passed he was lying on the ground panting, and despite his best efforts tears were streaming down his cheeks.

Moncks, broke rank and came to Aaran's aid. "Easy, just be still. He then chanted a healing spell and took the damage onto himself, leaving Aaran healed.

Thorn stepped over to Monck and kicked him away. "You loyalty is misplaced! Racine will hear about this! He'll skin you alive, if you're lucky. He may just kill you out right." He hissed with venomous words.

Monck just stood up and straightened up his outfit with dignity. "My life is his, to do with as my king wishes. But you're misplaced cruelty, shall also be known to him. Fore, the king values this one, so caution should be implemented on your part."

She nodded in response. "Do you think they'll come back before they leave to watch me shift?" She asked a little afraid.

Raymer looked to the door and shook his head. "That, I do not know. But if they do. We must not let on like anything has changed. " He looked back at her and asked, "Understand? "

The gaurd put in a call for backup. "I've called for help, they are on the way. " He said.

Vaughan grinned widely at his words. It worked. It actually worked.
