Jackie touched her chin to make Taylor look at her. "Focus on me. Be at peace Taylor. Shift then sleep until I call you to wake" She said, this spell was more hypnosis than an actual spell, but it worked when she had to calm animals in the woods, so she would use it here too.

Zypher grinned and nodded, "I keep forgetting about Jackie. All this magic stuff is so new to me." He explained embarrassed.

Bertram looked over the group and observed, "They need warriors, not rabble. They are going up aginst trained soldiers. I hope their reinforcements are better prepared for battle. That's the only way to win this fight." He solely.

Orson looked over at Jackie across the way. As soon as she preforms a few spells. Then we are at your disposal." He said with respect.

Nashton didn't understand what was wrong with Taylor. She had seems fine. But then he remembered that her forms were separate.

Ender looked up into the night sky and thought about how difficult it would be to see an unfamiliar sky. "I truly admire your strength. It must be hard to leave everything you've ever known behind and started a new." He said softly.

Ericsson chuckled as first, but then got concerned by her urgency. "Rosie, I'm fine. Don't worry about it. It doesn't matter it I take them a little late." He said as he took the pills and the water. "See, all better. " He said with a smile. He then patted the couch next to him in invitation.

Anna smiled at him then glanced around at the motley group they had here. "Well, whoever's there, I hope they hurry" She said softly. She was worried and trying to hide it.

Estelle glanced around then nodded "Warriors are almost always better than untrained people, though there are some exceptions. Like the highlanders, but I guess that's just a different type of training there"

Don nodded and glanced to Jason again "He said we are traveling by portal? I have never gone that way before, are there any side effects to that, or will we be able to just go through and be fight ready on the other side?"

"Yeah, it is, but it's a part of nature, the fire can clear out all the old and dead brush and trees, making way for new growth to take it's place." Kyra said, happy to let him know some of the things she knew so well.

"Yes, it is, but the good things outweigh the bad. Back there I was alone always, I didn't trust anyone. Here I have new friends and people to talk to who remember my parents." Star said then looked down and sighed "Everyone has been so kind to me here, until this one tried to attack me. I don't want to go back now."

Rosie sat down and sighed, shaking her head "But it's my job to look after you until you are well. Forgetting myself like this will not help you get better." She said then risked a glance to him "I shouldn't have fallen asleep. I am your guardian as well as your nurse...if we had been attacked..." She couldn't finish that though and shook her head again, looking away then saying what was obviously an often repeated line. "I shouldn't let my feelings interfere with my duty"

Aaran heaved a sigh of relief then set the stone down. "Alright." He grinned, excited to get to the sword stuff. He glanced over and realized Elina was still watching him. Very pleased, he grinned at her then patted Enoch on the back,"Where do the servants stay?"

Idris nodded as she looked up at him. "Why did they bring you here? They didnt want you, besides we weren't even together at the time?" She asked, trying to get the attention pointed away from her own pity, even though she was curious to know the answer.

Nashton was fascinated by Jackie. She was quite amazing the way cared for, fix them up and feed them. He watched her work on Taylor by removing the tazer bullet and healing her abused skin.

Zypher nervously looked at the walls around them and waited. This was so aginst his training. Sitting around and waiting, was how you got caught, not got free. But he trusted Orson and Jackie. He'd see enough of their magic to believe the impossible....was possible. He did reach out and take Anna's hand and squeezed it gently. "They're coming. " He stated plainly.
