Jackie smiled at him and motioned tot he doorway "Let us go then" She said and headed for it. "You did concentrate on the place you want it to open up to, right?"

Kyra stopped suddenly, staring at a really big tree in the center of a clearing "Oh, lovely"

Star looked to Ender, nearly having forgotten that he was there with them. "I must have a champion then?" She asked quietly then walked over to Ender to look at him "I was told you are a very good fighter. " She said then looked to Falkirk then to Ender again "I don't want anyone else to be hurt in my name, but if fighting must happen, I know I am not trained for such things. You can be my champion, if that is needed. I do not want to see anyone else die like my parents did" The last was a bare whisper before she turned away again, going inside her room. That was all she knew of protecting, or fighting for her; those who fought to keep her safe ended up dead and now she felt like that is what she had just sentenced him to.

"No" She said quickly then found the other arm of the couch and had to stop reversing.
Orson /Kristen flashed her a radiant smile. "But of course I did. So how big is this void? Do I need to step threw last or first?" He asked as he took Kristen's /Orson's hand and waited.

Graydon stared up at it in wonder. "Kyra, could that be your new home tree? It looks big enough." He asked eagerly.

Ender listened to Star's words and remained silent as she left. He looked over at Falkirk and bowed his head out of respect.
Falkirk watched his gesture growing more confused. "Why would you do that, Ender?" He asked quietly.
When Ender straightened he looked into Star's room once again and smiled. "She is special and very lovely. She doesn't deserve to be strong handed into something she had no part of. And for once, it's in my power to stop it. Just pretend for her sake, it's not to the death. Her gentle soul could not bear that burden. If you would relay to the queen that she has chosen her champion, I would be most grateful." He asked timidly. For he was outright asking a royal to do an errand for him.
Falkirk slowly walked over to Ender and bowed deeply to him. When he straightened once more, he had slight glazing if tears in his eyes. He whispered a confession with a raspy voice, " Then you shall be both our champion. For I hadn't a hope of winning. But I couldn't live without her, so I had to try."
Ender rested his hand on Falkirk's shoulder and said simply, "I know Falkirk. Now go and tell the queen for me."
Falkirk nodded and turned to leave. Ender stood tall and watched him leave. He then turned to look up at the night sky once more.

Ericsson brightened slightly, "Oh, now I have you where I want you. Give me your shoes! My little pretty." He said like the evil witch from The Wizard of Oz.
