Kristen listened to Aurora and ran. She had to find a gun. She sprinted, stumbling over herself from the awkwardness of her new body, into the hallway where the delta team was. She froze, wishing she had a way to protect herself, and shifted. Instead of trying to find out what happened, she charged the soldiers, antlers low.

Enoch grabbed his sword and stepped forward. "Alright, now that you have a feel for that one. Let see how you fair aginst a live target." He said.

Nashton came running over to Taylor. "Come on! Let's get to a side room, away from the bullets. Where's you gas mask, Taylor?" He asked through his own. He fired few rounds as cover fire.

The head of Delta team saw the Oilin charging them. He grinned evilly at him. He always wanted to shoot one of them. He took aim at the antlers and fired a tazed round at it's head. "That'll slow you down. " He said with sick humor.

Anubis was finally able to gain his feet. The wolves in human form now, couldn't anchor him down. He looked around himself looked for a target. That's when he saw the Oilin. He growled deeply and charged after the shifter.

Kyra smiled and went to her own bed, shifting to curl up on it and get some rest.

Star looked tot he two males, curious about Ender and his wings  since he wan't a pegasus. She soon returned her attention to where they were going and simply enjoying the freedom of flight. Soon enough her playful mood returned and she started doing rolls in the air again

Rosie blushed and dipped her head "All it took to learn that was to live alone for a week" She said quietly. "When you grow up in a pack, there's always others around, mostly family. When I first came to the city, I came a week early to get the house set up. I learned quickly that while family can be beyond annoying, having them there is a good thing"

Anna had to jump free as the tear gas stung her eyes, but when she returned to her human form, she was still wearing the mask, so the assault was ended. She growled again and shot at Ra from the close range, aiming for his eyes, though she wouldn't mind if she got his brain too.

Aurora had to duck back into the room she was using to grab her mask when the tear gas came in. She needed room to shift, but if she did in here, she would be confined to this room. With a growl, she shifted and slipped into the pool, after making sure the doors would have to be replaced to ever close again. There she waited for her chance to surprise the humans.

Half the wolves turned their attention to the humans coming in, one slipping out to throw the canisters back at them while the others started shooting. The other half continued shooting at Ra and Anubis after shifting back to their human forms, glad for the masks they had brought along 

Ember was stuck where she was, on the side where the humans had just come in on. She looked to them, though she couldn't fly. She was trying to decide what to do when she noticed Kristen come to attack them. All she had in her human form was a handgun, not that the pain in her wing would let her shift to that right then anyway. With her flame out in the darkness, she was invisible to normal sight.

Estelle grinned and nodded as she ate her cookie "Yeah, these are really good" She said after taking a drink of her milk.

Estelle looked to him then moved, laying beside him and partially against him "Well, we got to see this one" She said quietly.

Falkirk smiled at Star's playfulness. He was glad to see her happy once more. He did a few choices moves himself. Brushing her with his feathers again and tugging gently on her tail. He even got Ender in on it. Much to the Sylph's surprise. Falkirk laughed aloud as he enjoyed himself.

"That must have been terrible. Thank goodness it was only a week. You were very brave to take on such an assignment." Ericsson complemented.

Zypher had shifted to human form and ran over to help Anna. He started shooting at the open soares on Ra's chest. Trying to penetrate the thick hide "How can they take on so many rounds and it barely break the skin. I've never seen it before. but then I've never seen anything like them before." He said, as he continued to fire.

Ra roared loudly, in order to clear his throat of water. He couldn't swallow very good with half his jaw hanging open. He thrashed his head, to keep from get shot in the head. He started cough sparking, trying to light his fire again. About the tenth time, he got one. He then looked towards the two shooting at him. He made a chuckle like noise. As he sent vapor right at them.

Anubis grabbed the Oilin's tail and pulled it to a stop. He was satisfied as he felt the bones in it crush under his jaws. He started death shaking it, trying to throw the Oilin off balance.

Delta team returned fire to the wolves, with a few flash grenades thrown in. He saw they had gas masks. But he doubted they had ear plugs. Poor wolves and with such sensitive hearing to.

Ashton looked around the kitchen. "This is such a warm and inviting house. It reminds me of my childhood home." She said softly.
~~~
Bertram put his arm around Estelle. He was glad she was out here with him. Despite the circumstances. She was a bright and interesting young lady.

"Just building random stuff." Cole explained simply. "I sell it online just as a side thing."

Arya nodded slightly, "So, what is your name? My name is Arya." Arya said conversationally.

Aurelius nodded appreciation. "Thanks, you're a good friend. " she said thoughtful.

Keldwyn looked around for the rest of Sirène's family. "Yes, it is a good spot." She agreed pleasantly. She sat down with then and enjoyed the fish, as well.

"You're a good friend, too." Rio said and smiled. "I can't believe I have a friend, I've been pretty anti-social all my life." Rio said and laughed a little.

Finally Sirene's siblings came. Esprit looked at them, "What were you three doing?" She asked, "We were just following a bull shark. It was a baby, and we caught a fish for it." Fleur said, beaming. Esprit talked to them while Sirene ate. She cupped a small fish in her hands, "These fish are so tiny, it's really cute." Sirene said to Keldwyn and let the fish go.

Star laughed inwardly and circled the two, playing with them both in the air now. She was having fun, more than she remembered having before. Flying with others was a novel experience and one she would love to repeat as often as they could.

Rosie blushed again and looked away "Wolves are pack animals, being near others gives us a sense of peace we can't find alone. Humans are pack animals also, instinct makes you want to be around others, even if those others are not human."

"They must be based off of mythicals" Anna said then winced and dropped to her knees, covering her ears at the first of the flash grenades.

Some of the wolves had ear plugs, simply because of the gunfire in a closed space, but even they were affected by the flash grenades, just not as much as the ones without them. For a moment, while the other wolves were catching their breath and putting in earplugs, those few were the only ones to continue firing back at the humans or the pets. A few who were too close to the grenade actually passed out from the sound waves.

Ember hopped forward, forcing her wings to carry her just high enough to help her latch on and dig her claws into Anubis' head. She flared her good wing over his eyes, igniting her blue flames even as her talons sought out his vulnerable neck bones through his hide.

"Oh? That must have been a nice place to grow up at" Estelle said with interest. That sounded like a much nicer topic to talk about than her life right then too.

Estelle sighed softly, watching the sun rise then closing her eyes to just enjoy the freedom they had now.

On land it seems like it would be slightly boring, but in the water there are so many little creatures and you can find so many things hidden in the sand." She said thoughtfully. "This is really good." Sirene said, taking a bite of the meat they had cooked. "I'm glad we came up with the idea of cooking."

Taylor pointed to where she last remembered the mast. Her eyes and throat burned and she shakily leaned against the wall, coughing.

Kristen/Oilin screamed in and started bucking, trying to make the pain go away. She kicked Anubis off of her and tossed her head to shake off the tazers. When they didn't come off she continued bucking, shaking her head, and screaming, trampling a few men under her hooves.

Ericsson listened interested in all Rosie had to say. She was simply that fascinating to have a conversation with. They didn't talk about empty topics. But deep heartfelt one. He enjoyed learning how this wonderful woman thought and processed the world around her. He knew many that needed to learn her wisdom. But then that wisdom would've be wasted on men like Markus.

Zypher smelled the acidic nature of the vapor. But he too cringed at the sharp sound of the flash grenade. But they were in far more danger from that fire monster. He looked up at it as it made that chuckled sound. Zypher knew there was nothing to be done. He was about to light the vapor. All he could do was try to save Anna. He pushed Anna to the ground and covered her up with his body. "I love you Anna." He whispered to her. But that's when he heard "DON'T YOU DARE GAS MY PACK! I'LL GAS YOU!" Cadeon yelled as he held a shifted Nashton like a flame thrower. "NOW, NASHTON!" He said as he let the fire dog have it. Right in the eyes. Zypher look up and over at the strange sight, as he moved off Anna. "Now, I've seen everything." He said with a chuckle.

Ra roared as the skunk juice blinded him. He shook his head vigorously, to try and clear his vision.

Anubis release the Oilin's tail at the searing pain on his face. He dropped and rolled. Trying to dislodge the Phoenix on his back.

Ashton smiled fondly at the warm memories. "Ya, it was. My mother died when I was still very young. So I was sent to live with my grandmother. She raised me. She was one of the reasons I went into medicine." She said softly.

Bertram lifted hire face to the breeze. It felt so good on his skin. It's the small things one misses when deprived of many.

Enoch nodded pleased. "Good. But you are broadcasting you intentions loudly, through body language. Pay attention to your foot placement and when you shift your weight." He said and demonstrated what he meant by it. "Also, don't look with your eyes, where you are about to strike. It gives me a heads up and I have time to react. Now with that in mind, try it again." He instructed.

Nashton nodded and ran for the mask. Halfway there, he heard the flash grenade. His ears ringing, he watched Anna and Zypher. That's when he felt a tugging on his sleeve. He turned to see Cadeon. He couldn't hear a word he said, but he understood the motion of his gesture. He nodded and shifted to his skunk. He'd never live this down, but they had to help the Alphas. He closed his eyes as Cadeon picked him up and charged into the frey.
