Aaran nodded quietly,"I am where I want to be." He added seriously, and raised his sword in a defensive position,"I think I want to try again."

She grinned and said, "Alive and well." She quoted the warriors greeting. They then turned their attention back to Aaran.

Sirène woke up the next morning and yawned. Her family was still asleep, but she got up anyway. Her family was used to her getting up earlier than them. She swam over to Keldwyn's grass bed and checked to see if she was awake.

Twitch hopped along the forest floor. He was tiny and seemingly harmless but no animal dared to touch him. He paused and gazed around, his throat pulsing. He sighed and shifted to a human. "I wish there was more of me..." He mumbled to himself. All the others were in a zoo. He walked through the forest.

Star sighed and shifted to her human form, looking to him then away and going to find a place to sit since she was dry now. She didn't like to be cold and wet. She sat and pulled out her pendant, running her fingers over the crest and wishing she knew how to open the portals so she could go back. She knew there had to be some way out, otherwise they would suffocate, and if it was only a small hole, then she could b heard if someone came near. She would just have to bide her time and find such a thing. Preferably without an audience.

That is why I have been hiding from you, Jason. I'm so sorry for the losses of your pack and friends, but I'm selfishly relieved that you are not a mourned member. How terrible does that make me?"
