"Hello Spyro" Star said, looking to him then to Falkirk when he came over. She reached over to take his hand and smiled softly then sighed "Well, I suppose this time under guard will give me a chance to learn to use my magic and learn about my family." She said. She wasn't used to being inactive and was trying to think of something constructive and safe they could do."What was that fish creature anyway?"

Jackie chuckled and watched the group as they ate together. This was what she liked to see, everyone getting along and fairly happy.

Angela giggled and ate a spoonful of her pudding also "It is good though

Anna shook her head "I do not think the magic could stop electronic signals, otherwise she would have no electricity" She said thoughtfully then looked to Zypher "And father wouldn't have any unless Jason had him grab some from the city pack" She was getting worried and turned to go back to Jackie's house.

Jason laughed too and hugged her "Yeah, good movie, but it proves my point, made creatures are unreliable, they go against the natural order so they have no real place. The thing we have to worry about is if he got blood from Taylor or Nisha, since they are created shifters, though how tha't possible, I do not know"

Aurora nodded and looked to the two girls "Alright, I can smell food, so they must be eating now, shall we join them?" She asked and looked at them all.


Elle went to Bertram and took his hand "You will come with us, won't you?" She asked

"I am fine, just thinking of going hunting" Kyra replied and smiled, jumping down from one branch to another until she reached the ground.

"Stronger and faster" Danika said then shook her head "But instinct tells me to flee. It is hard to stop that before I moved." She said then sighed and came back to her then looked to the light again. "It's not really fear either, I know this light thing can't hurt me. It's just that when it came towards me like that, everything in me said to run"

Rana chuckled and looked up at the sky then back to the giant cat "You were not really interrupting, I was more bored than hungry" She admitted then shrugged "It's probably close to time for me to move on from this area"

( Did you want to create a fey character( real or filler) to teach Star, her magic? You do Jackie so good. It'll be cool to have her fey counterpart. But if you don't, I completely understand. )
Avalon smiled broadly. "That is a wonderful idea. I'll contact my best teacher."

Falkirk sighed and said, "That fowl creature is called a Oasg. They are demented fey that like mischief and terrorizing others. Not all lower fey are good. They cannot shift and are resentful of most who can. They tend to be quite nasty. He must owe Vatgkan a life debt. That's the only way they are loyal to a master."

Arran ate quietly after that. The food was so delicious.

Nektar got a sampling of the other offered foods. He just enjoyed watching the others. He'd been isolated for so long. He relished the sound of various conversations going on at once. He smiled happily at Angela here and there.

Zypher was feeling an urgency of dread filling him. How many times had he said, 'don't put all you eggs in one basket. But yet he had done just that. "I'm praying for a miracle, here. let's hope that Markus isn't looking for us, thinking we are dead." He said with uneasiness.

Luce looked over to where Taylor and Nashton were. "I'm sure he did get her blood. That's the first thing he does when he catches you. Now we know why. It's for DNA sampling. He has my blood. But I doubt he'll be making mutant squirrels." Growing sick by the thought of such a violation to her genetic makeup. She shuddered and hugged into Jason's side.

Graydon grinned, "Hunting! I've never done that before. I'd like to see that....if I wouldn't be in the way." He said with hope.

Danika watched her then copied her, taking a grip on the hilt of the sword. "Like this?" She asked and looked to Bellatrix again

Rana dipped her head then spread her wings and took off, circling once then flying away though she had to stay low to not be seen far away by the humans in the city.

Aurelius shook her head. "Can't you see, that by me trying to stop a fight, I caused a greater one. Because Markus had time to prepare for an attack. The outcome did come out different. From when I hadn't locked the doors. Because key members of the residence would have been killed. I don't know if I did right. I have no head for war. I don't like seeing it and then seeing it for real." She explained simply.

Keldwyn said, "I think it's when the shark eats, they get scraps. So it protection and food that motivates their behavior. At least that's what I think. " She then got a mouth full of grass and chewed it quietly.

"Even if it was your fault, what's done is done. Dwelling on it will drive someone into insanity or depression if they obsess over it long enough." Rio told Aurelius and continued walking. They weren't too far from the house now.

"That would make the most sense. Your logic makes me sound like an ignorant child." Sirène said and laughed slightly.
Sirène felt like talking about something more interesting so she changed the subject. "Have you heard about some mermaids marrying humans? It's odd, mermaids are far from human. It would be very awkward and shocking if that human then found out how most mermaids are." She said, shaking her head a little. "When creatures are shifters, bad things can happen, though that doesn't mean that bad things happen all the time, just sometimes. They seem harmless at first, but it can be bad. Because though we look human, we have animal DNA and instincts."

Danika watched her then copied her, taking a grip on the hilt of the sword. "Like this?" She asked and looked to Bellatrix again

She instructed and backed away so she wouldn't accidentally hit Danika and swung her sword in a quick, swift movement. She wanted Danika to get used to holding and moving the sword, for it was a little heavy.

"Ladybug, eh?" She teased. "Alright then."

Zia looked back down at the sword. "It's shiny...but I don't know if I would have a nest large enough to hide it in..."

"We all die in the end." He said simply, not missing his brothers that much. He was so use to death and cruelty that is didn't phase him. 

Jackdaw nodded, "Yes, it a large fey bug that stands tall and uses it wings to look like a colorful dress. It has specially designed hands that when put together, form the face of a beautiful female. It does that to hide from predators. It's quite amazing really." He explained to her.

Aeval glanced at Dust and gently lowered her head until it rested in his lap. She tipped it so that she could look up at him with one eye.

Dawn smiled. "We have ladybugs back home. But they're tiny little red bugs with black dots."

Sirène felt like talking about something more interesting so she changed the subject. "Have you heard about some mermaids marrying humans? It's odd, mermaids are far from human. Because though we look human, we have animal DNA and instincts."

Aurelius looked down at the rock still in her hand. She listened to Rio's words. She kept moving along and said, "I will try. But that is usually all I've ever had to do." ~~~ Keldwyn shifted to her human form and looked at Sirène in shock. "Tell me more! I have never heard of that. It sounds fascinating." She said.

Degan stepped the last few steps towards Zia and looked at the beautiful sword. It had intricate filigree and an inscription in a language he didn't know. "I wonder where it came from." He said.

Angela was also enjoying being in a group setting once again. This was one thing she had missed while in the menagerie. Even with Arran and the doves, this was just better to have many around.

Anna nodded and headed for the house, looking around "With the reinforcements father called in, we will have the numbers and the firepower, we just don't know if they have scramblers with them either."

Jason hugged her close, just glad she was safe and unharmed. "That would be a sight though, so long as they were good mutant squirrels"

Ella grinned and looked to Estelle and Aurora then went to the front yard to join the picnic with them

She instructed and backed away so she wouldn't accidentally hit Danika and swung her sword in a quick, swift movement. She wanted Danika to get used to holding and moving the sword, for it was a little heavy.

Danika watched her and tried to copy her. She did fairly well, even with the heavy sword, though she wasn't perfect, that would take time and practice. "So, it's like holding my horn like this" She said thoughtfully.
