Dawn nodded slowly. "I don't really eat fruit. Cheese is amazing."

Zia glared at him. She reached down and stole some more of his food.

Dust looked at her, a fish still flopping around in his mouth. 

Jackdaw nodded and added, "We can request dried meats instead." They walked into a large room with several long tables and a few small ones around the edges of the room. "Where do you want to sit?" He asked curiously.

Degan said, "I was eating that, before I was rudely interrupted by your gluttonous sound." He said with mild annoyance.

Ena laughed at the sight, as Aeval moved to the shore to get out.

Star smiled and dipped her head a little. She was glad that she had been able to do that move at all, but she knew once wouldn't be enough, and one move wouldn't be enough so she got ready again "Think I would be able to get free like that, if he were to take me again?"

Ender stepped forward and said, "Yes you would. Don't doubt yourself. You are fully equipped to defend yourself. You'll just need practice to make it into muscle memory. That when you don't have to think about it, you just do it. Now was there another move you'd like to try?" He asked politely.

Nektar was embarrassed. "No, I meant no disrespect. I just always found it fascinating how pigeons and crows could do that. Of course I didn't mean to call you a pigeon." He said with remorse.

Graydon held on to Kyra's hand and followed the man along. He led them down an alleyway, lined with dumpsters.

The man stopped at the dumpster at the far right. "This is your best hope of finding a cooking pot. It's an Italian restaurant, they do a lot of pasta and sauces. They need big pots to do that. If you don't find anything that will work, come back to get me and I'll see what the thrift store will do in the way of a trade. Alright youngsters, good luck."

"Thank you." Avenir said and walked away. She stroked Vorsicht, not really in a hurry to leave.

"Well, it pays off, doesn't it?" Sirène said and continued walking. Even though most of the shifters didn't like the city, it wasn't bad. It was pretty nice, and away from Axel's or Markus's workers. "Let's look around and figure out what we should do first." Sirène told Keldwyn excitedly.

Ashton nodded and turned to the next shifter.

Enoch sighed dramatically, " Or you can talk me to death. I've never seen someone die by boredom. But way I feel now, I think it's possible." He said with humor.

He waved his hand and made a cup out of ice. It floated away to the stream, scooped up water, and flew back to his awaiting hand. He took a sip,"You want a glass?"

Kristen bit her lip,"She died.. It's been 10 years now." She stared at her feet for a minute then quietly looked back up at him, the pain in her passing evident in her eyes,"She was wise. I wish I had had more time with her."
