"Oh" Starr stopped, looking up at the ceiling overhead. It was lovely and lit the place very nicely. This whole room was unlike any she had seen before and it took her breath away for a moment

Kyra grinned then laughed lightly "Oh, yes, I suppose it would do that" She said, laughing because of her misunderstanding.

Anna chuckled and came in as she nodded "Yes, I did, though..." She paused and shook her head, her smile dimming "He was killed so I took his daughter out to the woods to keep her safe from harm, or further harm. She was unable to shift anymore from some thing they injected her with." 

The wolves looked from one to the other of them, then the medical one went over to look at her wounds to see what they could do to help.

Jackie smiled and went back to her seat "Your welcome. Go ahead and read some, we can see if it;ll help your grammer later on"

Angela grinned and nodded, getting up to walk at his side again. as they headed for the city. 

Falkirk enjoyed watching Star's reactions to things that he has come to see as common place. Her awe and wonder, helped him appreciate it all anew. "I'm guessing you like it." He teased.

Graydon laughed happily along with her. "So, what's your favorite medium to weave with? " He asked curiously.

Keira winced again. "I'm sorry to hear that. They are always changing it up. But back to business. Those wounds are bad. But it's the nasty on my back, that's keeping me from shifting. I was running from this unit and this one shoots me with this thing. It beeped and then it latched onto me. It's what caused me to fall three stories from a fire escape. It shocks you to keep you in one form. He must know about the heal-shift now." She explained. She carefully leaned forward to reveal the strange mechanical device. It was lodged between her shoulder blades. It resembled a scarab beetle. It's legs had pierced through her clothing and were lodged deeply into the skin on her back. It flashed green, then sent another electrical pulse, right into her spine. She winced again. "These are brand new, never seen them before. They're stepping up their game, Zypher. Hey, don't worry. I turned the scrambler on as soon as I got a chance. They could follow me here." She said with a growl.

Garth eagerly went to reading the book aloud. It was a little awkward at first, but it soon got better.

Nektar held out his balled hand to Angela. He'd seen how she liked the berries, so he'd picked her a handful. He smiled sweetly at her as he waited for her to hold up her hand.

Dawn shifted. "I like it. It's pretty."

"Well, I've never seen a cave before so there." Zia said sharply before heading into the cave.

Dust looked to her before heading off in the said direction.

"Yes, it is. Not to mention it was made by two amateurs." Jackdaw said with pride.

Degan smirked at Pyro and walked into the cave. "Oh, this has potential! It needs a lot of cleaning, but isn't a good cave. Wait, there isn't anything living in here is there?" He called out to Pyro.

"Just a few rats and spiders. " Pyro said simply.

(Oh gosh, a drunk horse is not good. )
Sirène started the game by hitting the white ball towards to triangle, making a ball go into one of the holes. "Okay, your turn." She said.
(We're going to use very scientific terms that don't sound ridiculous at all. )

Keldwyn shook her head, "You go until you miss. Then it's my turn." She explained as she took another sip. "Oh, you must try this Sirène, it happiness in a glass." ~~~ Jarvis returned with the ice water. "Here you go, sir."He said. Markus took it and threw it on Luis. "Wakey, wakey! Eggs and bakey." Markus said with humor.

The wolf froze, studying the beetle thing without touching it for a while

"We might need that vet place again" Anna said and looked to Zypher "That's connected in many places and over the spine. If we do anything here, we could paralyze her"

Jackie smiled and sat back, sipping her tea as she listened. When Ember came out, she got up to let the phoenix in her human form take her place.

Angela tilted her head and held out her hand, wondering what he had for her.

"Who's this?" Aaran asked confused,"Is it another general?"

The doors opened and Taylor stepped out with Nashton. "Yeah I'm sure you'll be fine."

"Never, never, never." Kristen said, muffled. "You're not fat."

"He's a Sylph named Castiel. Not just any Sylph, but king Racine's personal one. But to me, he's just a friend." Enoch explained to Aaran.

Castiel looked over to Enoch and smiled as he came over. "Aw, general Enoch, you honor me with your invitation. What can I do for you?" He asked formally, as he glanced to Elina and Aaran.

Enoch rolled his eyes, "Just to take a load off and talk with us. Castiel, this is Aaran. He is a warrior in training. My training in fact. I'm glad to have you back, my friend. I never believed what was said about you. Not for a minute. I knew that Thorn was jealous of your closeness with the King. But being of the brotherhood, I could not speak aginst a fellow member. I hope that doesn't affect our friendship." Enoch replied with regard.

Castiel shrugged and stated, "I am where I am supposed to be. It's all worked out well. Because I have once again, found myself back in the kings good graces." Castiel then looked to Aaran and flared his wings wide and brought a fist to his chest and bowed his head. "It is an honor to meet you Aaran, warrior in training." He said with respect. He then folded his wings and and sat on the wide arm of Enoch's chair. Take on an easy posture.

"Umm, Taylor? You keep saying the same thing. Like you're trying to convince yourself. If you don't want me to meet them, I'll understand. " Nashton said quietly.

Orson chuckled again and turned around to face her. "Truth be told, I could never stay mad at you." He said tenderly.

Aaran bowed his head respectfully in return,"The honor is mine, sir." He stared, amazed, at Castiel's wings,"So why do you have wings when everyone else doesn't?" Aaran asked curiously.

Taylor shook her head,"No, it's fine, it's just I'm not currently on the best terms with my parents..." She admitted. "Or more specifically, my mom. We just don't get along very well. I'm not really in the mood for an argument right now. When I tell her I'm not coming home and I'm considering not going to college, things are going to get crazy."

"Thank you!" She kissed him all over his face. "Stay un-mad at me, okay? Promise for now at least?"

(I was thinking a release lever hidden somewhere on it. But if you want to go to the vet, that'll add more dramatic flash. It's up to you. )
Keira glared up at Zypher. "A vet! As in a HUMAN ran facility for animals?!! In case you've missed it, I'm in my human form and I don't trust humans!!" She growled in frustration.

Zypher cursed, "It's one of two options. Leave ot on or take it off. So settle down. I know you don't trust humans, but I happen to. This vet has proven to be an asset." He said sternly. He then looked to the doctor wolf and asked, "Is that your opinion?"

Garth stopped reading as Ember came out. He looked to her shyly, before refocusing on the book again and continued reading.

Cadeon came awake and looked around. He could scent Ember, but she wasn't there. He shifted and got out of bed. He yawned, as he stretched out his muscles.

Nektar opened his hand to drop the berries into her palm. "Just for you." He explained.

"Yes, it is. Not to mention it was made by two amateurs." Jackdaw said with pride.

Dust went into the building he was told to, then held the door open for Aeval, as he was seen humans do when he was last in the city.

Markus took it and threw it on Luis. "Wakey, wakey! Eggs and bakey." Markus said with humor.

Sirène decided to drink some of it, "Wow, that's weird, but it doesn't taste bad." She said. Sirène set the glass down and started playing pool again, though it wasn't long until she missed. "Okay, you're turn." She told Keldwyn.

Luis woke up, though it took a few seconds for him to realize what was going on. "Hey! Wha-who are you?" He demanded.

"We may need it to get these arms out, though I think there would be an easier way to remove this than that" He said, kneeling to see it from another angle. "He wouldn't want such a large thing all the time, it would make it harder to get the data he's after, and while he certainly doesn't mind us being in pain, he wouldn't hurt himself just for that." He said of Marcus then pointed "This looks like an access panel, here"

"The vet we found got trackers out of both of us yesterday" Anna said quietly.

Ember rubbed her eyes then found a seat, still tired. "Hello" She said, looking to Garth then around at the others.

Jackie smiled at Ember "You are up earlier than I expected."

Angela smiled and closed her hand gently over the berries then hugged him "Thank you" She said happily.

Aaran bowed his head respectfully in return,"The honor is mine, sir." He stared, amazed, at Castiel's wings,"So why do you have wings when everyone else doesn't?" Aaran asked curiously.

Castiel looked to Aaran and said, "There are many classes of fey. My casts are personal guardians of royalty. As far as my wings, quite a few lesser fey have them."

Elina spoke up and added, "The legend of how the Sylph came into existence was from hundreds of generations ago. But it was said that once there was a great winged beast that ruled the skies of Anstopfia. It was fearsome and deadly to all it set it's sights upon. Kings of old, tried everything to kill it. But it wasn't until out of desperation, that the king offered his youngest daughter as a sacrifice to it's blood lust. He had her tied to the rampart of the castle. The great winged beast came to calm her life. But was brought to a halt, by her radiant voice as she sang a mournful song. The beast landed and with clawed hands, removed her shroud. He was so taken with her enchanting beauty. That he untied her and granted her, her freedom. But within her presence, he suddenly despised his true form. So he created a spell that would change him forever. He chanted it proudly and it transformed him into her equal. But you see, there was just too much of the beast to fit into that small form, even with magic. So his massive wings remained on his back. He was outraged by his blatant failure and his horrible disfigurement. But the princess was not. For she embraced him with pure love and gratitude for all he had willingly give up for her. She in that moment, vowed herself to him forever. They went on to have many offspring. All male and with their father's wings. The king however, did not like the deformity. He ruled them a lesser fey and unfit to ever mate a royal. He decreed that it was because they were not two natured. Sadly, to this day, that mandate holds true. So you see, Sylph's are half royal, but are forever denied their status and rights of their class." She concluded.

Castiel looked down at his hands as she spoke. "That legend was neither proven nor proven false. It was an oral history passed along. It's easier to believe it's untrue, for obvious reasons. " He said.

Elina scoffed, "Of course it's true! Sylph by it's very definition means, 'great winged beast'." She explained simply.

Nashton looked at Taylor shocked. "No, Taylor! You have to go to college. Don't let this madness change your plans." He said with conviction.
