Keira listened quietly, taking it all in.

Garth stepped back and took her hand and smiled.....

Garth's face crumbled and contorted into absolute agony. He wailed piteously and dropped to the floor convulsing.

Sergio ran to his side and knelt beside him on the floor. "What's wrong! I don't understand!" She said concerned.

Cadeon looked at him in shook. The got up and hurried to help in any way.

Markus finished the spell and poured water in the burning blood of the Gen-one. He then shut the fey king's spell book. Markus smiled in satisfaction, he just wished he could enjoy his vengeance firsthand. That traitor would suffer a very slow and agonizing death.

Nektar waited until she was ready and took off at a furious pace.

Star smiled at him then looked to Sonya when they reached the room.

"Hello again" Sonya said and smiled as they came to her.

Don't had arrived at the spider's den, looking around for them so he could make the deal if he could.

"Father hasn't said, he's been waiting for our word since we asked him to wait." Jason said

"Garth!" Jackie called and knelt down, looking him over to try to find out what was wrong with him. She did not like this sudden development.

Angela held on as they raced through the trees, heading for the mountains now.

"Oh, my bad." Bellatrix said and walked in front of her. "Where exactly do you want to go?" She asked.

Danika looked to her again and shook her mane "To whoever else you want to see me"

Dawn trotted along unknowingly, until ,of course, it was too late.

The angle was wrong, so Jackdaw decided to nip Dawn's foot instead.

Aeval grinned, " Yes, that's a must." She agreed, as they kept walking. She was relieved to see the streets were getting better looking. Less rough looking individuals and more up scale humans. She read the signs to not miss the one they were looking for.

Danika looked to her again and shook her mane "To whoever else you want to see me"

"Well, a few more sirins looking around couldn't hurt." Bellatrix said and turned, walking straight. She was thinking about Danika's memory, it was odd information.

Keldwyn nodded in reflection. "Yes, you are right." She finally stated.

Sirène was silent the rest of the way. They only stopped when everything was pitch black, and you could barely see a foot in front of you. "I think that's good for today. We'll just sleep here. Tomorrow we should arrive at Ostrea." Sirène's brother instructed. They had stopped in a pretty comfortable place, the ground was covered in soft algae and small fish were swimming in place, sleeping.

Star smiled at him then looked to Sonya when they reached the room.

"Hello again" Sonya said and smiled as they came to her.

Don had arrived at the spider's den, looking around for them so he could make the deal if he could.

Graydon nodded slightly and looked around shyly. He didn't like to be the center of attention. He thought of a way to change the subject. Getting inspiration, he asked, " So how many types of deer live in the forest?"

Zypher nodded, he'd completely forgot about that. " Sorry, it slipped my mind." He said. He then look up at the cosmos and stated, "I sure hope Garjzla sees that Don is waiting to talk to the spiders. It could be awkward if they don't come out of the cave." He looked at the others and shrugged. "It sometimes works. " He explained with great humor.

Sergio felt Garth's skin, "He's burning up. Wgat could cause that?" Dhe asked Jackie alarmed.

Garth felt like his blood was boiling. He had to bite his tounge to keep from doing his Banshee call. He didn't want to hurt anyone, but he was fighting hus own instinct. As far as his body knew, he was under attack. Blood dripped out of the corner of his mouth, it felt like acid. It burn the lacerations his teeth made into his tongue. He looked up at Jackie and focused on her. If this was the end, he'd draw comfort from her presence.

Nektar watched the branches and terrain. He knew it was a long and didn't want to make it worse.

Earl came out of the cave, looking at Don with a glare. "Why have you invaded my territory?" He asked, all eight eyes on him. "Is everyone going to make a thing of coming to my cave? Eleanor is never pleased with the presence of others." He said in a rough and low voice. His fangs were clicking together as he spoke.

Sirène looked at her, "Pretty well, I guess. It's just shocking that the place I grew up is gone. I shouldn't focus on it, there's no other choice now but to move on." She said and sat down in the algae next to Keldwyn. "I am not in a bad mood, that's good."

Anna chuckled and looked over to Jason, heading for the van so they could get the tracker. She would take the tracker and the blocker, going on foot to the ridge and changing directions often on the way. That would give them plenty of time to set up for the trap.

Jackie looked to Sergio then back to Garth, trying the healing spells she knew to try to save his life. After the first one, she recognized that it was a death spell so she turned to grab a book from the shelf, paging through it quickly to reverse it back towards the sender and off of Garth.

Angela stayed where she was, admittedly surprised at his stamina as they ran.
