Kyra glanced to him and smiled then got the baskets in so they could hang the herbs to dry and put the rest away. She was feeling better about having come here, there was just so much more in this forest that it wasn't a comparison to her old home, just because she had a friend to be with here.

Jason smiled at them and nodded then moved a little further in to the stockpile they had for this location "Here's what we have, just for this location, as for what we are going to be up against, well..." He started listing the weapons and magic they knew about, as well as the created creatures.

Jackie sighed and nodded "I reversed it, so it should go back to the sender, though anyone who deals in that type of magic usually will have a protection from it as well, so we can't know he's gone" She said warningly and looked around at her friends

Ember turned towards Cadeon a little. "He has the blood of everyone he's captured" She said worriedly and looked around at them.

Angela flew for a while before she had to land. She looked around the area then back to Nektar as she caught her breath. They had managed to travel quite a distance in the time since they had run from the killers.

Ender and Spyro were impressed with Star's progress.

Graydon helped by carrying the rest of the greens to the root cellar. When he returned, he watched curiously as Kyra hung bundles from the ceiling. He had never seen such a thing before. "It smells wonderful." He observed aloud.

Zypher looked at Jason in shock. "So we have become his test subjects? We are battle training his creations for him. This may not be as easy as we think." He said bitterly. He was worried about Anna on a new level now.

Keira was wide-eyed as she listened. She finally stated, "I've been out of the loop awhile. This is all new to me. Wow! How do we fight hybrids that have strength and few weakness?"

Cadeon shuddered at the thought. But said nothing.

Orson nodded agreement and looked to Jackie and offered, "I can help you make the protection pendants. My people have always worn them."

Garth was scared for his friends. But he was also very angry at his creator. Markus had done nothing but hurt him. While his new friends had saved him from certain death, twice.

Nektar waited for Angela to rest. He kinda needed the break himself. "It feels good to just run at full speed and feel the wind in your face. " He said breathlessly.

Star was tired when they finished practicing, but Sonya had been pushing the unipeg to learn quickly just in case something happened. The two females came to the door. Sonya was going to take Star to get something to eat then let her sleep for a while.

"Yes, it does. That's an added benefit from herbs, they make it smell so nice" She said then glanced over at him again "We have to hang them to dry so they will last through the cold season"

Jason nodded and got his guns then looked out over the area once more "Yeah, that's why we have to kill them if we can, if they learn how we fight, then they can find a way around our defenses, then we are in real trouble. That's why we brought the big guns to this trap too"

Jackie looked to Orson and nodded "I should have enough ingredients, it's just the actual making and spelling of them" She said "I would appreciate the help"

Ember looked to Cadeon and hugged him tighter for a moment when he shuddered.She didn't like this much either.

Angela bobbed her head and looked to him then went to straightening some feathers "Yes it is good to be able to run or fly freely. There is no other feeling like that" She said happily. Flying always made her feel better

"Alright" Danika said and smiled at her then looked to the sky to determine what time it was, "Should we go back home now?"

"As soon as possible, we have another trap being set up on the other side of the forest now. I just need to know how many instructors and guns to supply and where you want to set up at. I know you will want your youngest to stay hidden safely at least until it's time to feast." Don replied and dipped his head towards the female. He could respect their power, even if he disliked their normal behavior.

Bellatrix looked at her, "What do you mean by home? Would you like to go back to your cave?" She asked.

"How about 30 others? I think the smallest amount of acromantulas could be 10, but the more there are the easier it is to kill all of the humans." Earl suggested.
"I think the soonest could be very early tomorrow morning. We are usually up and getting ready for hunting at around 5:00 a.m., so instead of preparing to hunt we could prepare the trap. Of course, before nighttime we can probably easily learn how to use guns. And, I think the trap should be somewhere near our cave so if anything does somehow go wrong, our offspring in the cave will hear our call and come to help." Eleanor said and looked at Don to see what he had to say.

Keldwyn did the same. But sleep was slow in coming, despite her fatigue. Keldwyn's mind was restless.

Bellatrix looked at her, "What do you mean by home? Would you like to go back to your cave?" She asked.

"How about 30 others? I think the smallest amount of acromantulas could be 10, but the more there are the easier it is to kill all of the humans." Earl suggested.
"I think the soonest could be very early tomorrow morning. We are usually up and getting ready for hunting at around 5:00 a.m., so instead of preparing to hunt we could prepare the trap. Of course, before nighttime we can probably easily learn how to use guns. And, I think the trap should be somewhere near our cave so if anything does somehow go wrong, our offspring in the cave will hear our call and come to help." Eleanor said and looked at Don to see what he had to say.

"Yes" Danika said and dipped her head a little "That is home, at least for now" She answered softly. It was the only home she knew until she got her memories back, and possibly after that.

Don nodded and smiled "That sounds perfect. I can have enough wolves and guns here by tonight so that we can teach your family to use the guns" He glanced around the area then motioned to a smaller cave than theirs nearby, but far enough to not put their little ones at risk "That one could do nicely to hide the tracker in, make it look like he was captured by your family and draw the humans and whatever pets they bring into the trap"

Jackdaw watched her leave and got up to follow her backto the beach. He shifted to his fey form, because he wasn't doing very good with his glamoured dog form. He stopped on the edge of the forest and the beach to sit in the sand there. He looked out at the ocean mindlessly.

Degan laughed, "I'll have to take your word for it. It doesn't look very comfortable."

Pyro was silent, he thought he heard something. Footfalls off in the distance.

Aeval gasped as Dust stepped out into traffic. "Dust!" She yelled as she followed beside him. The cars squeal to a stop and honk their horns. She looked at the drivers blankly as the cursed and did gestures towards them. "Hey, this actually work out nicely, good thinking. " She said softly.

Dawn shifted and pushed lose hair behind her ear. Sand felt so different than dirt or hard stone floor.

Dust looked at her. "I have yet to learn their rules. Until then, I shall obey my own common sense." He glanced behind them." Which only applies to the forest, so it seems."

The Sylph brothers smiled knowingly at Star. She was pale with fatigue.

Ender felt bad for the loss of Star's freedom. He was going to speak with the queen and ask permission to actively hunt Prince Vatgkan. This waiting for the next attempt was not the best way to protect Princess Star.

Zypher looked up at the ridge. "What's up there? Is it accessible?" He speculated for a snipers nest.

Keira looked over the available guns and got one that she was both familiar and was skilled with. She tested the sight and balance.

Cadeon needed Ember's comfort on a metaphysical level. Though his male pride would deny it.

Orson nodded respectfully to Jackie.

He watched Sergio and Garth together. They already had a sister /bbrother relationship. He smiled sweetly at them, as they stood up and walked to the couch to sit down. He focused his attention back on Jackie and asked, " What stones do you have for the pendants?"

Keldwyn awoke still a little bit tired. She glanced around her and yawned.

Degan was honored that Zua would offer for him to try on a part of her armor. But it was Pyro's hissed growl that stopped him in his movements. But he wasn't growling at him, he was looking back the way they'd come.

"Mistress Zia, men are approaching. Markus's men to be exact. " Pyro said with certainty.

Aeval chuckled and said, "I love you Dust. You are you, unapologetically." She went and opened the door for him and waited for him to enter first.

"That is where Anna will go to to hide the tracker, so they can't see she isn't there. There is a nice cave in there that she will use then join us over here" Jason answered and smiled at him. The wolves kept their weapons all ready to go, at least the ones here. They had emtied a few stashes to get enough for everyone in this one place.

"I have moldavite, amethyst, ammolite, jade and quartz" Jackie answered and got up to go get the stones and bring them back to the living room

Ember sighed quietly and got up to get them drinks. She hoped nothing else bad happened anytime soon.
