Starr blushed and dipped her head at the praise. "I've never met one of them, are they nice?" She asked curiously.

Kyra shook her head and smiled "I for one am glad you don't have to learn on your own. I like having you here with me."

"Thank you" Ember said, moving her wing then looking to the others again. She felt ready to go after the dragon once more.

Rana dipped her head, smiling at the others."That would be appreciated, thank you" She said, looking to Orson once more. "I can fly all three of you males if you are going after the dragon as well" She said softly.

"That other left something here, we are worried it was on purpose but we don't know what it is" Skylar said quickly then turned to show them what it was, pointing to it then looking to Jackie when she came over

Anna smiled and dipped her head at that. She had only just though of it on the fly, but she didn't see any known flaws with the plan.She looked to Nashton again "Do you think you can do that?" She asked. She would push him to do too much, but this was what they needed.

Rosie gasped and stilled in his grip, staring at the gun. She didn't like this situation one bit. With her hands in cuffs, there wasn't much she could do about the situation. 

Jason motioned to the other wolves then stepped out and faced Daniel "Let the girl and the man go and we might let you live" He called out, waiting for the other wolves to surround the area and try to grab Ericsson from the van when Daniel was distracted.

Falkirk bobbed in the water, while he thought about her question. "Well, they have unique temperaments at best. But mostly they keep to themselves. They've been known to be mischievous, if not spiteful at times. " He replied softly. Just in case one was close enough to hear.

Graydon smiled and beamed happily. "Thank you, Kyra. I like being here with you too." He said.

Orson approached Rana. He gently repeated the process. When he finished he he looked to the others and said, " That would be faster than us running and greatly appreciated."

Bertram nodded and stated, "That dragon shifted and got in the SUV. Do you think we can catch them still?" He really wanted to get vengeance for his threat to his friends.

Garth struggled with his composer. He'd never flown before.

Cadeon set Bob ao the kitchen table and told him to stay put. He then followed as far as the doorway, as Jackie left to go into the other room.

Jaxon stepped off to the side so Jackie could see it better.

Nashton moved back over to the desk. He nimbly climbed up on top of it. "Yes, I believe I can." He said with certainty.

Daniel laughed crudely, "Is that right? No, I don't think I'll let you have either of them. Especially this one. You see, I've grown fond of this one, but I'll plant a bullet in her skull if you so much as make a move to take them." He threatened.

Ericsson was worried about Rosie, when movement caught his attention. He looked to the man that were at the back of the SUV. Confused as to who they were. They couldn't be Markus's men.

Star nodded, accepting his words. She didn't know any so she wouldn't know about their temperaments or abilities yet. She needed to get back to the library and study up some more.

Kyra smiled happily at that. She finished gathering and looked to the baskets then to him "Alright, one to the tree and the others to the den, since it will be our pantry of sorts also."

Rana nodded and settled with her head low so they could get on "I can fly faster than most cars can drive" She replied then looked to Garth "Don't look so worried. I won't drop you" She said then nudged him gently

Jackie frowned and knelt down, examining the thing to see what it was and letting Sergio look as well. "Does everyone have their protection amulets on?" She asked before she would try to move the thing.

Anna nodded and smiled "Then all we have to do is add the magnets, then we can head out" She said with a nod, She hoped this would work in their favor.

"No, we need the nurse" Jason said, pacing a little to keep the man's attention on him and away from the others. One at a time here, he thought to himself as he watched them. He was trying to get the male to turn to keep him in sight.

The wolf placed a finger over his lips then glanced to Daniel to be certain he wasn't looking before he climbed in to free Ericsson. He tried to stay below the level of the window so he wouldn't be seen from the outside.

"But one thing that is certain about water sprites, they fly and swim with such fluidity. If you'd like to meet one, we can try to find one." Falkirk offered.

Graydon picked up one of the baskets and nodded. "That's a good idea. Never store all your eggs in one basket. " He replied, repeating the old human cliche.

Garth gave a start, realizing he was so transparent. "Oh, it's not that I thought you'd drop me. It's just that I've never flew before. I don't know what to expect. " He rushed to explain, as he shook his head in disbelief. But he slowly relaxed and reached over to touch her beautiful feathers. He gathered his courage, before he crawled up on her back.

Orson carefully climbed up onto Rana's back and settled just behind Garth and her shoulder blades.

Bertram bowed his head to Rana, before he too, gently climbing up her side to follow the others. "This monster, let's finish him. I don't like his deceptions and the threat he posses. " He stated with conviction.

At Jackie's words, Cadeon went back to Bob and picked the little guy up. He then held him close to his chest. So he could share his protection pendant with Bob. He then closed his eyes and hoped for the best.

Jaxon looked down at the necklace that Orson had given him. But looked to Skylar to see if she had one. He wasn't sure.

Zypher got up to scrounge some magnets. "We'll epoxy these on and then we're a go." He said as he came back with what he needed.

Daniel didn't trust this cocky male. He seemed full of himself. So he kept his sights trained upon him.

Ericsson was relieved that he'd been right. They had to be Rosie's friends. When the pressure was released from his cuffed hands. He sent up a thankful thought to the powers that be. He then nodded his thanks to the man, as he slowly followed him out. Ericsson biting his tounge as the pain in his side intensified with his movement. He had to stay low and make no noise. How were they going to get Rosie away from that sociopath.

Rana chuckled softly and waited for them to get on and settled so she could take off with Ember beside her. Now that they both had healed wings, they were able to get up over the treetops and followed the way the van had gone, searching for it.

Jackiewaited for them to get settled then looked to the bag again, holding a hand out to it then chanting quietly. She was trying to send the thing to the top of a volcano she knew of.

Skylar touched her bracelet as she stepped to Jaxon's side to hold his hand worriedly.Her father had paid for the small charm long ago and she was never without the innocuous chain on her wrist.

Anna nodded and looked around before checking her weapon to distract herself from her thoughts as she waited.

Jason stopped and looked at him again, "I don't know you yet, but I will get the girl back before you leave this place."

The wolves helped him down then took him towards the woods to get him safely away from the danger zone. Most stayed behind to help free Rosie also.

Rosie was trembling, though she stayed silent as she waited for a chance to get away from the man.

Falkirk was glad Star didn't want to searching for any. They weren't his favorite. He smiled sweetly and said, "That's perfectly fine with me. Now what would you like to do now? Anything you heart desires. "

"Really? Louis was always walking around saying that. I liked it and memorized it." Graydon admitted with humor. He looked around the forest as they walked. He adored the different bird songs and various other animal sounds. It was calming and pleasant at the same time.

Garth quickly regretted setting in front. But he closed his eyes tightly as Rana gained altitude. It was unlike anything he'd ever seen. The world looked unrecognizable when you only saw the treetops.

Orson however enjoyed flying. He remembered the few times Aurora had gifted them with a ride. He looked over at Ember and smiled, before resuming his search out over the scenery. He was looking for the Tell tale signs of a moving vehicle.

Bertram was also looking around trying to see the direction the SUV had taken. He knew it had fled to the south. But up here he couldn't navigate probably. " Are we headed south? " He asked over the rush of wind.

Jaxon squeezed Skylar's hand gently in reassurance. He glanced to her with equal concern. But Jackie seemed to know what she was doing and it appeared to be doing something to it.

Zypher took the transmitter off Nashton and went to attaching the magnets. Fortunately, he had five minute epoxy. So it didn't take long for it to set up. "Alright, let's get this dog and pony show on the road. " He said as he gathered up the transmitter in one hand and Nashton in the other. He looked to Anna and wiggled his eyebrows excitedly.

Nashton giggled and said, "Ummm, but I'm not a pony, nor a dog. That makes no sense. "

Zypher growled low and said, "It's just a expression. My platoon leader would say that before deployment. I guess old habits die hard. "

Daniel was very slowly back stepping to the back of the SUV. Once he felt the bumper at the back of his knees, he chanced a glance into it's interior. When he realized Ericsson was no longer there. He whipped his full attention back on Jason, as he cocked the gun and pushed the barrel of it into Rosie's temple. "You're going to be sorry for that little trick. I guess you don't think I'll kill her. Well it's clear who they want to save, hot pants. Sadly it's not you. Say your last words before I put you down." He said with utmost sincerity. His finger already turning white from the added pressure on the trigger. That way if they had a bead on him with a sniper rifle, he'd still take her out.

Ericsson was visibly shaking with his anger. That monster never should have gotten ahold of Rosie. He was such a weakling that he couldn't even save her. He looked to the wolves that were making sure he didn't do something stupid. They had told him to trust their alpha. So he tried to do just that.

Star chuckled softly at that "We have been doing what I want for a while, we have been going all over together." She said softly

Rana glanced back at him and chuckled inwardly then looked around again "There it is' She said and headed lower to go after the SUV ahead "That's the right one, right?" She asked just to be certain

Ember called out and dropped lower to look in the windows to see if he was in there or not.

Jackie finished the chant to sent the thing away from her house then sighed and looked to be sure if it had worked. She would have to figure out what to do next if it didn't.

Anna chuckled softly and touched Nashton then picked him up "When everything settled down, we have got to set you down to watch some good movies" She said then looked to Zypher and winked "All of us together"

Rosie shivered lightly in his grip. "My last words?" She asked and turned her head to look at him a little. "Like how much of a jerk you are to put the life of a girl in jeopardy because you are too weak to hold a male?" She asked then used one hand to push his gun hand up and away from her head enough to try to punch him and get away

Rana glanced back at him and chuckled inwardly then looked around again "There it is' She said and headed lower to go after the SUV ahead "That's the right one, right?" She asked just to be certain

"Like how much of a jerk you are to put the life of a girl in jeopardy because you are too weak to hold a male?" She asked then used one hand to push his gun hand up and away from her head enough to try to punch him and get away

Falkirk looked to Star with a lopsided grin. "Now you say that like that's been a chore. I'm really enjoying our time together. No matter what we are going. " He replied honestly.

"The operative word is controlling. But he did raise me when my mother died. So he must of had some good in him, I suppose." Graydon reflected.

Bertram took a good look at the vehicle and said, " Yes, that's the same one."

The driver saw the shifters in pursuit. He cursed and stomped on the gas, in an attempt to keep them from getting any closer. Chaos held on to the seat in front of him, as he tried to keep from losing his balance in the back. He growled his annoyance that they had caught up with them.

Orson was chanting an energy orb to throw in the path of the vehicle. That way, it would cause the engine to die.

Jaxon eased out the breath he'd been holding. The bag seemed to be gone and nothing bad had happened. "Thank goodness that thing is finally gone. What do you think it was?" He asked Jackie quietly.

Nashton smiled at that pleasant thought. "I look forward to that very much. Family time is one of my favorite ways to spend time together. " He replied happily.

Zypher smiled softly at Anna before he lead the way out of the office. He stated as he got the door for Anna, " Any movie you can dream of, I'll have at our fingertips. Be it Netflix, DVD or on demand."

Daniel was shocked. How had she gotten her hands free? The crafty female was going to be trouble . He thought to himself. He instinctively caught her wrist, a split second before she made to strike him. "Easy there love, I wouldn't want to prove a point to your friends here. But I can't have you getting away. So behave or you'll be sorry." He said, as he pushed Rosie into the back of the SUV face first on the floor. He then aimed the gun at the back of her head and reached blindly for a collar for her. Because he was sure to keep Jason in his sights at all times. "Don't be a hero, boy or you'll be giving the eulogy at her funeral. I promise you that. " He replied angrily.

"As do I" Starr said and laughed then swam closer to him. "I would not change a moment of our time together" She said then touched his cheek and smiled as she twirled softly to him again.

Kyra nodded and went into the den again, going to set the basket on the shelf in there. "Not enough, but some." She agreed then looked to him again "He raised you pretty well, but he should have let you learn to fly"

Rana heard Orson chanting and clacked her beak so Ember wouldn't try anything and get in the way of the magic. She wasn't sure what he was doing, but she would give him a chance to do it before attacking the vehicle.

Ember glanced over to them then flew ahead, though she stayed high over them so she wouldn't be in the way. She wasn't going to let them go into any tunnels if she could help it.

Jackie shook her head and looked to them, taking a seat nearby "I'm not sure, but with Marcus having a magic user, it could have been nearly anything." She said with a frown. We need to set up an area we can bring strangers to to help without putting the young and injured in danger." She didn't like that he had had anything in her house. That bag could easily have been a portal spell, made to take every living thing and send it to a specific place upon activation. That thought made her shiver as her eyes went to the kitchen where Bob and Cadeon were. Or it could have been meant to destroy those around it, she wasn't certain.

"Looking back, I think he was afraid I'd escape if he taught me. Perhaps he was right in his fear. It's such a freeing feeling. You can't fly and ever tolerate bars again." Graydon reflected on his new found ability. He looked up at Kyra and shrugged slightly in acknowledgement of his inermost feelings.

Orson let the power orb go. It flew to the road just ahead of the vehicle. As soon as it ran over the orb, the engine died instantly.

The humans took up weapons and opened fire on the group. While Chaos got out of the back and shifted. He got ready for this next assault.

Hearing that the coast was clear, Cadeon brought Bob with him into the living room. He sat down in the chair across the way from Jackie. Thinking about what she proposed. "That's a very good idea. Bertram is a great carpenter, he could probably build anything you want. The question is, where will it be safe, yet not a threat to us?" He inquired absently.

Jaxon stayed silent. Concerned that his loyalty would be put to question. He would blame them, but it was still very frightening. He'd became reliant upon Skylar gentle guidance. He couldn't be selfish and put her in harms way, if he had to leave here.

Zypher nodded and glanced to the others as they entered the living area. "Yes, but getting your father back is our primary directive." He reached out to grasp Anna's shoulder in reassurance of his words.

"Oh? So that means my demise is eminent. Good to know. I'm now glad I took precautionary measures. " Daniel said with venom. He finally found what he was looking for. He released his hold on Rosie and handed her the collar. "Put that on and don't get brave. I just might let you see another sunrise." He said with determination.

Star smiled, happy to be there with him. She moved back only to keep from hitting him as they treaded water to stay afloat. With a giggle, she turned and went to shore, sitting on a rock and looking back to him happily.

"You cannot grow up free and tolerate bars around you. It is not a natural state." Kyra said then sighed "you could get used to it, but never be happy deep down. That is what he did not understand."

Rana dropped down behind some trees to let her riders off without putting them in danger.

Ember cried out in anger and dived at the van, trying to hit the people that were shooting to eliminate that danger before she would go after the dragon again.

Jackie sighed and sat down, shaking her head. "Now that I do not know, since we would be needed in whatever place we use, if not me then the wolves doctors. This will need a lot of thought and planning if we changed anything." She said then looked at Skylar and Jaxon. "You look worried, is there something else you thought of? "

Anna nodded and gave him a smile. "Yes, father and the other prisoners there will have to be freed before we can relax that much. "

" We don't kill indiscriminately, but if you hurt our friends, you will be hurt." Jason said, flexing his hands to hide the signals he was giving the others, though he couldn't let Rosie be hurt if there was a way to stop it.

Rosie looked to the collar and shook her head. "I am not putting that thing on." She said despite the tremble in her voice. She had heard some stories and didn't want to be trapped in one, not that she would want to have even a normal one on.
