Orson carried help Keira to sit up. He then told Kristen, "You must cover the wound with your hand and draw it into yourself. That is how we trick our life force to heal outwardly." He then closed his eyes and did as he'd described.

Keira stilled at the strange sensation. There was a movement from within and a warming. Then all at once,the pain went away. When Orson removed his hand from her back, she turned to see a shattered bullet in his palm. She reached to picked up the largest piece amazed. "Now that's a handy trick. " She said as she looked up at Orson wide-eyed. "Thank you." She said softly.

Aeval glanced to the cage before launching into the air to go warn the others. "Be careful Aurora. She called back to her. Aeval flew as fast as she could. When she got to the clearing she shouted, "Something been unleashed! We found a cage in the trees!"

Bertram glanced up at the dragon's words as she came in and landed in the middle of the clearing. He looked to Degan as the continued to carry the wounded wolf to the portal. "It seems we can't catch a break." He said frustrated.

"You are right. I'm sorry for questioning you dedication to your pack. You're a Guardian and a very good one. I just can't see why saving me was worth the risk. I knew I was dieing, I just wanted you safe. You evoke raw emotions from me. Ones I'm not accustomed to. But here I am, restored with more questions then understanding. "You know, I haven't had a vision of you, beyond our meeting. That's a first for me. It's a relief, really." She explained simply.

Racine stood still as the past was displayed. It was like viewing a movie from a one person perspective. He watched detached as his memories were searched and then played forward in real-time. His eyes were drawn from the past, to focus on Sorcha. He watched her as she concentrated on her magic.

Avalon watched silently as Racine's memories were viewed. She saw the events played out. The harsh words and hate-filled eyes of her father as Racine confronted him about atrocities committed to an innocent. Avalon glanced to Elina shocked, but quickly returning to watching.

Jackdaw watched as Racine used the Unseelie stone in the hilt of a dagger as he drove it through the kings heart. As the king fell to his knees, Racine commanded his fey wolves to attack. Jackdaw was sickened as his pack mates shifted to dismembered and devour parts of King Kaerft. He had to look away at times.

Elina stood tall and watched as Racine gave up everything to seek vengeance for her mother. She hadn't been there, but now she saw all. She looked away to look to Racine with glossy eyes. She wouldn't cry. She had to be strong.

Anna returned the kiss with all the love she felt in her heart, though remembering that they were not alone despite them seeming to try to ignore them.

Orson nodded as he looked at the triage wounded. "We're going to need Jackie's and Sergio's healing abilities too. It's a good thing too. If we draw too much on out life-force we become too weak to heal ourselves. " He replied in Kristen's mind.

Keira stood up and offered the fragment to Jason. "A good luck charm. Because that bullet had your name on it." She said matter-of-factly.

Haden had slowed to plan his attack. He didn't see any of the targets. That's when he heard a sound back the way he'd came. He turned and listened. He scented the air and growled deeply at the scent of dragon.

The horse reared up and thrashing its front hooves at being startled. It's rider expertly stayed on and calm the animal. "Oh, just enjoying a ride. What do you think you're doing frightening my animal?" He asked curtly.

Aurelius sighed softly as she walked over and sat crossed-legs in front of her. She then explained her gift/curse to her. When she was done, she shrugged. "I'm usually only blocked to those who become very close to me. But never at the first meeting. You are the first unicorn of the light, I've ever met. Your magic must block me." She guess.

Avalon was speechless for a long moment. In the silence, she heard soft whispers of the royals speaking amongst themselves. She wanted to get away. She wanted to run like a child and hide from everyone. To her surprise, she heard a familiar voice in her mind. "But you can no longer run away and you can no longer hide. You are Queen and you must act as such. Racine has laid himself bare to all. Right or wrong, he had very good reasons. It was a crime of passion, but not for the shallow reasons you had believed them to be." Avalon sobbed internally. For when Ender had shut his mind off to her, she'd never bothered to close hers to him. "I truly feel I never knew the true person my father was. Or my mother for that matter, since she could order something done like that." She thought mentally to Ender. She then focused from within to the gathering. She spoke in a steady voice, " Given light of the current evidence, I decree that Jackdaw's titles and standing within the court are reinstated. Welcome back Prince Jackdaw Thornwolf." She looked to him to join the others.

Jackdaw stepped from the wall and bowed deeply in respect. "You honor me, my queen. " He said with happiness.

"I am inclined to grant your rite fight. Good luck and may justice prevail. " She said to him. She then looked to Sorcha and stated, "I have seen more then enough. I do not need to see any more. Thank you for your assistance in this matter." She then stood as she addressed the gathering. "It would seem that there were extenuating circumstances that had escalated to the violence and brutality of king Kaerft's death. Through this regression, we have all witnessed Racine's actions. I am excusing him of blame, on the grounds that it has become abundantly clear that the king was unfit to rule." The room broke out in mumbling. She continued loudly." I don't say this lightly, but he violated his own principles. His mandates will be brought under close scrutiny for the validity of my people." She sent a secret smile to Sorcha. For one of her father's mandates was betrothals of royals.

Elina spoke to Aaran mentally, "He's cleared! I'm so very happy. I hadn't dreamed it would end like this."

Anna had to take a breath after that kiss. She closed her eyes then turned to focus on Aeval and the new crisis "Is anyone left out there? If we can get everyone in here, we can take the wounded away from here and not be followed." She said, wanting the wounded out of the danger zone most.

"Jackie is still helping bring in the wounded" Kristen told him and pointed out the witch then glanced around herself "I haven't seen Sergio, I don't think she has come out yet today"

Jason took the bullet shard and looked it over then looked back to Kiara and dipped his head respectfully "Thank you for saving my life."

She tilted her head at the growl then growled in return, digging her claws into the earth, ready to throw the dirt at the creature when it made a sound again.

Skylar ran quickly to the portal, slipping in then to the side so she and he would be out of the way. She was still amazed that he was alive and was staying silent for the moment.

"This forest belongs to the guardians. Perhaps you saw their battle against that giant?" Ember asked, watching him even as she landed on a branch then looking at the horse "Horses have always had a fear of this form, it is expected."

"Unicorn of the light?" Danika repeated then grinned "I like that, it sounds pretty. I;m sorry if I blocked your sight, I didn't mean to" She added, her emotions switching quickly

Sorcha bowed her head and dispelled the spell then looked back to Racine before going to take her seat again. Even expecting such a drain, it was hard to go back so many years and show the truth to everyone. She was glad all the old king's mandates would be able to be reviewed though it wouldn't benefit her directly. She had no love to be free to see. She would enjoy seeing the queen be able to be with the one she loved, after all, the twirl should take precedence over any made laws, since it was a bond of the soul and not one that would be faked. Star and Falkirk proved that. Even if Avalon only added that exception, it would be better than the way it currently stood.

"And to think it was so easy to be done, simply by coming here in peace and letting truth be known" Aaran said, actually surprised that it was so simple. He looked to Elina then, a little confused "What will happen now?"

Orson glanced back from watching Jackie, to look at Zypher. "Yes, I know. I had planned on going back to close it." He explained, as he stepped out to cross the field. "Keep healing, you're doing good, my heart." He replied through their bound.

Keira smiled and dipped her head back. "That was nothing, anyone would have done it. You're well liked Alpha Jason. But don't make a habit of it, because I'm not a cat and I definitely don't have nine lives." She said with a chuckle.

Jaxon looked around at everyone. He noticed Nektar was staring with disbelief. As if he was seeing a ghost. Jaxon waved nicely in thanks for helping him earlier. He then looked to Skylar again and grinned.

"Is that what that was? I thought it was a movie in production. Because giants don't exist and neither do you, for that matter. " the rider lied.

Aurelius hurried to assure Danika, "No, don't be sorry. I feel almost normal around you. It's a welcomed relief. " She smiled pleasantly. "I met a dark unicorn once, not very pleasant." (Since Garjzla she changed it's temperament.)

"That will be all. If King Racine and company would accompany me I have a feast planned in your honor in the banquet hall. All who want to, may attend." She looked to Elina and smiled softly, "I'd like to get to know my half sister." She replied honestly.

Racine looked to Sorcha and offered his hand. "Do you plan to attend the feast, princess Sorcha? I would be honored if you'd allowed me to escort you. " He hoped she was, even though she look slightly fatigued.

"Elina curtsied to the queen's words. To Aaran she spoke mentally, "The truth shall set you free. As far as what to do now, i honestly don't know. Just live and be happy." She twirled softly to Aaran.

Anna watched Orson, then looked out to try to see anything and give warning if she could. She did not know the enemy was invisible.

Kristen looked to Orsen then around to see who else needed help right then on this side. The few here were minor injuries, the worst had been Kiera.

Jason chuckled and nodded "True, true. Let's go the long way and check on the injured." He suggested, heading over to them theough the void.

Skylar smiled and looked to Nektar, glad to surprise him like this. She looked back to Jaxon and smiled happily. "I am so glad you were able to survive that."

Danika frowned then smiled and hugged her "well, I am happy we met too, how long do you think that fight will last?" She asked, changing the subject a bit.

Starr watched them, smiling a little as she waited to leave for the banquet hall. She was glad things were going so well for the time being.

Sorcha looked to Racine again then to his hand, taking it after a brief pause. "I would like that, yeas, I planned to attend." She said softly.

Aaron smiled and twirled back to her happily. "Good, then it is a perfect place to be for us." He said theough their link.m

The hyena looked up as Kristen came over. He had a broken leg and was limping around , in too much pain to shift.

Jaxon saw a medical bag sitting opened. "Should we help dress the minor wounds? I'll feel better if my hands are busy." He asked.

"I care not. I did what I had to do. You don't understand what he'll do if you don't. So it's nothing personal, just trying to keep alive." The man said, before he spurred the horse into a gallop rode away from Ember. He whipped it with his reins until it was at a full gallop.

Aurelius was delighted by Danika's unpredictable nature. She lightly returned her hug. "It shouldn't take to much longer. " She said, not wanting to reveal too much. "So what do you like to do for fun?" She asked curiously.

Jackdaw saw Star and worked his way over to her. He bowed and straightened. "Princess Star, So glad to see you again. But it's ultimately better seeing you as an equal as well as free." He said happily. He then glanced around. "I saw Falkirk leave, would you like for me to walk with you until he returns? " He offered politely.

Racine smiled genuine and helped her up. He then folded her left arm around his right and started walking. "I must admit, I was secretly hoping you were going to be in attendance. I do hope I'm not being too forward, we were properly introduced after all." He replied softly.

Elina smiled softly up at him. "Anywhere with you is my perfect place. Be it alone or in a crowded room. You are my constant strength and my reason for drawing breath. " She said with a purr in his mind.
