Gideon was counting the seconds until the elevator stopped. His heart beat in his ears as there was that long moment before the door opened. To his relief, no one was there as he stepped out. He slowly walked down the hallway to the facility parking garage. He had a single thought as he cleared the doorway, before the world went black as he was struck on the back of the head. "Oh, sh...."
The guards came from every direction to surround them. Their guns pointed at the two females.
