Avalon nodded quietly and also looked to Ender. When he generated the shield, it caused whispers from the watching Fae. It had also surprised her, but she didn’t let it show.
Ender looked wide-eyed at what he'd just created. He struggled to remember the counter spell to dismantle the sheild. After a few wrong tries, he was successful. This was interesting and very intense at the same time.
