Ravek and Jaeger laughed at the comrade between the different types of shifters. Ravek felt a twinge of sadness for his beloved Shaylee and the horror she must be living through. Jaeger grasped his shoulder in sympathy and drew him out of his reverie. He looked to the Sylph with a nod of thanks.
Pyro stuffed his hands in his jean pockets and shrugged nonchalantly, as he said, "Just the truth ma'am."

He then grabbed the glasses in one hand and the neck of the bottle with the other as he walked into the living room again. He held up the glasses for Rana to take, so he could pour.

Pariah entered Shaylee'smind to silently tell her what to say, as the reporter started the broadcast. She smiled pleasantly as she stepped far out of the frame of the camera. No use to give the trap away.
