Danika shrugged and looked to the portal again "Maybe" She said uncertainly. "We can try anyways."

Ember smiled at him then stood, glancing around before heading for the balcony. She would shift to jump from there and fly back to the forest.

Anna was glad when they reached the top floor and could get out of the elevator and back with the others once more.

Once they were safely down, Foneth gave him one of her kills so they would both have three to eat. She smiled at him again. "I doubt it will take you long to get used to this form and be out hunting even our best."

"You did not break yours." Bardou said as he took the pen and paper to be able to write for her. "This may just be fancy furniture, but the significance of it is what counts, and yes, I do have good penmanship, though it didn't have much call for it in the forest."

Sorcha blushed a little and smiled happily at him. "I could not say it any better than that." She said then gave him a hug, so happy they were together now.

Star smiled at him again and took his hand to go to the table so they could have breakfast together "Well, it is a good idea." She teased back

"That is a very positive attitude to have. " Aurelius said with a smile. She looked up as Degan came back over.

Degan nodded and said, "Yes, it is. Danika, my Phoenix friend is going to speak with the queen on your behalf. So you needn't worry about that any further. "

Cadeon watched Ember leave as he stroked the back of a sleeping Bob in his lap. He knew this was what Ember had needed to reunite her with her people.

Zypher had got a notification on his phone and had gone to his office to check out what was happening now. As he powered up his computer and entered the necessary codes, he decoded the encrypted email. He smiled as he saw the burning mansion. It had Anna's name on it. "That my girl!" He said with immense pride in his mate.

Xatia shouldered the large guns, making sure it didn't hit any of the tables with flowers upon them, as they walked down the hallway to the apartment door.

Ender chuckled softly, but it was amplified within his large chest and sound thunderous as a result. " Be careful not to raise the bar too high, I may fall off. But thank you for your praise and sharing you kill." He said with conviction.

Avalon was quiet for a time, as she looked to her clasped hands in her lap. She then nodded, acknowledging her understanding of his words. It soothed her a bit more to hear it wasn't her fault with Ender. She then focused on the task at hand. She started phrasing out the elaborate wording of the law amendments. Trying several different tactics, in order to get it ironclad in wording. They'd been at it for hours, when she asked, "Are any of those any good?"

Racine laughed happily as he held Sorcha in his arms. "Earth had its fair share of literaries. For their words have inspired me at times, you're my inspiration now." He said lovingly. He rested his cheek softly atop her head and asked, "What shall we do today?"

"And great minds think alike. " Falkirk said with enthusiasm, as the settled at the table. "Married life seems to become you, my love. You are even more beautiful this morning. " He said with sincerity.

"It means it will rain soon." Islanzadi told him. "Everything covering the sky right now is condensation. Don't you have rain in your realm?" She questioned, unsure of how else anything would get water.

Cicero thought about how to explain it. "Anstopfia get a dew every night that replenishes and renews. Our plants are accustomed to this and funnel the moisture to their roots. Our river is ever renewing and flows from deep within the rocks. It journeys to the ocean continuously." He replied honestly. He tipped his head and said, "I told you yesterday, we did not have rain."

"Ready? " Aurelius asked Danika gently.

Ravek looked to the door with relief as Anna and Xatia came though. He moved to greet them.

"I can live with that." Ender said happily, as he looked to Foneth once again.

"Yes, I agree. You have a good eye for this, Bardou. You know, Jatevt could use an apprentice, if you're interested in this line of work." Avalon said with careful consideration.

" I'm sure she'd never think that about you. Besides, her no show, was not a snub to our union. This message was slipped under our door this morning. It's drafted by Spyro, in care of queen Nabal's servant. It seems Avalon has locked her self in her chambers and wasn't receiving anyone. So I suppose she still doesn't know about us. I think we should tell her in person, if she'll receive us. It was fortunate my Lords were able to attend, as well as Elina and Aaron." Racine said as he reached in his robe pocket to retrieve the message so she could read it herself.

Falkirk grinned widely as he made his selection of fruit. He winked merrily at Star, before indulging in a bite.

"I see that. Did you get anything from that monster? " Ravek asked.

Xatia too the guns and leaned them against the wall.

Ender had devoured his tree goats fast then what was socially polite. So he was glad that Foneth hadn't noticed. He turned his attention to her and answered her question as thoroughly as he could.

"Those are my concerns as well. We should either send word of our departure to Queen Nabal or tell her personally. Which do you think would be best?"

Falkirk paused and offered her a section of his choice. "This one is spicy sweet. Also not at all what I expected."

Axel smirked,"I figured. You may be an idiot but not a complete idiot. Speaking of hybrids..." He was ready to bust out the big guns,"Heard you had a little scuffle with the 'pack'. Well, more like saw. He nodded to Thomas and he changed the feed. It played a short strip of the fight. Nothing particularly unusual about it. Just your normal everyday fight between magical beings. "Zoom." The computer followed his voice command,"Replay." It was zoomed in on the small former handler. The fight was going on around her and then she shifted into what was obviously an Oilin because she looked almost exactly like her partner beside her. "Shame isn't it? On of the last two Oilins left alive, working for you! And you had no idea." Revenge was oh so sweet. Rubbing it in was always nice. "Isn't that just a shame?" Axel kept watch on Pariah out of the corner of his eye, just in case she touched something important."

"No problem." Nashton said matter-of-factly, before he finished off the rest of his shrimp lo mein.

Pariah glared at Axel for his flippant tone. But the video soon had her full attention, as she watched it closely.

Markus frowned as he watched the replayed part. When it was finished for the second time, he looked to Axel and stated, "She was not Oilin when she worked for me. I was present when the blood samples were drawn from her. They could not be faked. I went through great lengths to ensure the shifter hoard did not infiltrate my facility. Whatever has happened to her, happened after she left my employ." Markus said with far more calm then he felt.

Pariah stepped forward and intently looked to Axel with her lavender serpent eyes. "That breed of Fae is quite unique. By him being the last, he assimilated an Oilin mate. So his species would not end and he could breed true." She spoke with a little hiss on her S's.

Taylor had already finished with hers about a minute ago,"Told you. Delicious." She nodded and smiled,"So who's making dinner tomorrow then? You or me? How about I pay for dinner today and you cook dinner tomorrow. Deal?"

Do you think he would be able to make more?"

Pariah returned Axel's scrutiny. She then smiled and stated, "in time, they will have young. So yes, they'll most certainly make more."

Markus chimed in to say, "That is the only shifter I cannot replicate. They're two natured. It gets complicated fast and my attempts have failed horribly."

"Yes, we got more than I thought we would. Xatia taught me how to see memories, unfortunatly there are more defenses than we knew about before, where is Zypher?" Anna said, glancing around.

Kelan smiled at Xatia then looked at the guns curiously "What is this?" He asked her quietly.

"If she is already awake, we should tell her in person, if not, then we can leave a message." Sorcha said after moment. "We do not want her to think we do not appreciate all she has done for us."

Star smiled and reached over to try that piece curiously "Hm, nice." She said then picked out another piece and chuckled softly "Wonder what this one will taste like."
