25 looked around the area then headed to one side, picking up the rocket then coming back to Merrick to touch him "They used an electric net from this one, probably on a time release. They used some of the 'failures' as practice to keep the weapons calibrated. Also any 'successes' that didn't obey" She gave a sad trill at that, looking around them.

"What is Denmark?" 30 asked,, touching Nashton with a wing to keep in speaking contact with him. "Markus would pull his people to reuse them, not kill them unless they betrayed him."

Elle bit at her lip and dipped her head "He doesn't know. Estelle got him to play a game of hide and seek, then I slipped away to come help" She said quietly. Uhoh, she was going to be in trouble now.

"But you can put an alert for if they do power up" Jason countered, unwilling to give up on them just like that. He frowned at the computer, trying to think of any other way to track them, wherever they were. "At least we know they were taken, since the phones were turned off and not just ringing."

"Then that is by need a problem for another day. We must finish up here then decide what to do and where to search after." Anna said, looking to the others. then back to Phoebe "And you need a safe place to go to lay these eggs." She added then looked over to Fay and Asclepius as they appeared "Fay, Asclepius, I am glad to see the two of you"

Aurora went over to Aeval and looked to her then gave her a good slap, though not enough to truly harm her "Focus, neither despair nor anger will get us out of this situation. We must concentrate and see what we can do with what we have available to us. We can use the crates to make knife-like weapons, even without magic. I know we didn't get that far in our training yet, but there is a section on surviving without magic in there somewhere because there are places in this world where magic goes dead and you are stuck in whatever form you are in when you enter that area. These collars just make the area wherever you are." 

Merrick soothed, "He can't hurt you anymore 25. You have a queen now and we won't let him. Now let's get back to the others with this information." He said as he moved to get back up on her back carefully. He positioned the rocket casing across his lap.

Xavier agreed with Anna and moved to assist were needed to that end.

Zypher finished and headed over to the others. He glanced around for Shaylee and Ravek, before focusing upon Asclepius and Fay. "Everything go good with Shaylee?" He asked with concern.

Aeval felt an overwhelming relief as her inner turmoil come to a sudden stop. Instead of their focus being directed elsewhere, her sisters turned their attention upon Aurora to listen to her.

Asclepius stepped into the void, eager to start working. He smiled casually, wandering among the various pack members and their allies, patching up minor injuries and making small talk. As he meandered across the gathering within the void, he came to where he caught sight of the other golden dragon. It was nearly all he could do not to drop the coban he was wrapping around that sprained ankle just to run over to her. He hadn't seen another of his kind for a long time. Even in loosing her lustre, she was unmistakable. He rushed to finish the wrap job, asking the pack member if she knew anything about that dragon lying over there.

Phoebe was feeling rather shy with so many people about. Her condition left her feeling very vulnerable and exposed. It wouldn't be another day before she would have to lay another egg. At least, she thought, she wouldn't be pumped full of drugs to force more egg laying, or to keep her mind clouded. Soon, her egg cycle would stop. She sighed heavily, half groaning. Now that she was no longer drugged, her discomfort was more noticeable as the clutch of eggs formed in her belly, jostling for position against her innards.

"Her name is Phoebe and she's been used to produce eggs for them" The wolf informed than shook her head "They kept her pumped full of drugs and laying at an unsustainable level for however long she was in there."

25 laid down so that Merrick could get back on her back. Once he was settled securely, she would take off to find 30 so they could go back together."Yes, we do have a queen now" She agreed thoughtfully. Who would have guessed that they would be friends now when they had been enemies at the start of the day.

30 nodded and looked to the bodies again. "It could be, he is a business rival, yes?" He asked. They hadn't met this Axel yet, though some groups before his had gone to other places. He looked to 25 as she came over to them "25 is here"

Jason nodded and looked around the gathering "Right, we need to start getting the troops back to the rendezvous location. At least the fighting is done here." He didn't like that they had lost so many so mysteriously.

"Shaylee is resting and Ravek is watching over her. She should make a full recovery." Fay told them with a smile. She was rather proud that had turned out so well, even if it did mean letting an incubus loose in the world. He had restrictions, so it should be good enough. "They are at Jackie's"

She shook her head then looked around again, going to the wall to listen to what she could outside. It was a foreign language and that made her frown. What was going on?

Aurora nodded and looked around "Needs must that we focus not on what has happened or what we cannot do, but only on what we can do, without magic. We must assume that there is no way to track us at present, either because of these collars or some other blocking spell that we can't feel right now. So, first step is getting centered. Then trying to get the collars off, or make weapons with what we have here, then getting out of this box. One step at a time, panic does not solve anything."

He approached her cautiously, noticing the scars left where the scales wouldn't grow back on her ankles, wrists, neck and tail. The heal job had been decent; there was new pink healthy skin in place, but the scars were etched into her body like a bad tattoo. Once he got near, Asclepius cleared his throat noisily, attempting to get her attention. She hesitated, unsure, but turned to look. "It really is you," he said.
"Excuse me?" Replied Phoebe. " I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage."
"Oh! Um, I'm sorry. Give me a moment," Asclepius exclaimed. Looking around, he noticed most people were giving Phoebe plenty of space, so he revealed his true form to her. Her eyes widened with recognition, then narrowed with anger.
"Where were you, Asclepius. Where have you been? Where were you when I was calling from the skies, looking for a mate, knowing my time to nest was near? You were there, yet you did not answer? And now, you come, when I am this? Where were you? WHERE WERE YOU!" Her voice rose to an angry roar. Asclepius cowered with shame.
"I, um, I didn't hear your call... I was.."
"No. Don't start that now. I know you heard. It's obvious to me you are probably the last male, since I was calling and no one else came. It WOULD be you who was the last, wouldn't it," she chuckled spitefully. "They caught me because I was calling, you know. It's not super hard to track down a Call."
Asclepius cast his eyes down, not daring to reply. She towered over him, seething with rage.

Asclepius, looking like a whipped dog, noticed all the eyes on them. How could they not stare? In their natural states, they were well over 30 feet tall, and Phoebe was livid. The anger was palpable to everyone present, and some might even be afraid of her. Asclepius knew full well not to mess around with a pregnant or brooding dragoness.
"Yes, sure, anywhere she likes, I guess," Asclepius whispered meekly, his head kept in a submissive position to Phoebe.
" Why should we leave? This is much better with an audience," spat Phoebe spitefully, her eyes flashing. Anger animated her tired body.

They have many dragon friends, though you and he are the only two Golden dragons I have seen. They do have the young queens as well"

Phoebe, still rather irritated, scoffed a bit, grumbling," a Queen, that's great. Just what I need, Royalty and all that." She shook her head, her shabby whiskers rippling. "Well, alright, I do need to find​ a good, easy build nesting site. I need to find something really hot, like a volcanic cave, or an abandoned fire dragon's nest. I don't have time to really fuss with making a fancy nest, but it would be nice if there were plentiful mineral and crystal deposits nearby for food. No need to bring him, he will slink back when he's ready, now that he knows what he did," Phoebe said.
