"At least I'm not the monster the parents tell their kids about a night." He responded slyly.

"Thank you," He said to flash a rare smile.
"That's not true!" She said madly. Her voice quieted and with a sigh she said, "He adopted me when I was sixteen." She shook her head to show that she would never consider him her father.
"It was my idea! But everyone's got their eye on you," She said with a roll of her eyes. "You'll set the trend and no one will credit me for MY idea." She said, pretending to be mad. "Copy cat," She said under her breath.

Sonora took the sandwhich and water bottle gratefully. "Thank you," She said in delight as she took a bite, although she wouldn't admit to eat she barely ever ate and almost always went to sleep hungry.

Amar looked up at him quietly and at that moment she decided to trust him. "Alright." She replied quietly, try not to think about how painful the wound would be when cleaned out.

Carrow quickly got what she needed and checked out. She then put the things in the truck of the car and got back in. "Let's go home." She said absently, as she headed back to the heart of the city.

Navar very gently picked her up in his arms. She was so delicate, so he was very careful with her. He then made good time to his camp. He sat her down on a fallen tree trunk. He then went about getting the supplies he needed. He held his hand out for her injured one, and waited for her to give it to him.
