Jason glanced back at the two and gave a wolf grin "Yeah, he was very helpful" He said to her then looked ahead again. He slowed then snorted and looked at them "Hide, car coming" He said, growling as he turned to the side of the road to hide in the foliage there. 

Nashton pulled Luce to the drainage ditch. The both ducked down.

Jason watched the car pass by them and head for the lab. He wondered if they had another shifter in there then glanced around for the ones with him before getting up after the danger had passed to go back to the road again

He clarified about himself. He then leaned back in his seat, as the waitress and the food arrived. "Why, thank you! Now that looks absolutely divine. Tell the chef, that he has out done himself and that he has yet to disappoint me." He said in a flourish of praise.

Nashton quietly looked around. If they found them gone, they would come after them. But then they might not expect them to take the road, they'd probably search the woods. So he settled down a bit.

Luce just watched the road. She was so glad to be free. She would never take that for granted again.
