Name: Bellatrix
Age: 793 but looks 30 (She's immortal)
Gender: Female
History: When Bellatrix was little her grandfather gave her a ring for her birthday. It was magical, but he never told her what it did until she was older. On her 18th birthday, he told her that it was a very powerful ring, and when you said one simple word its power was turned on. It was a very dangerous but amazing power, and that's why he waited so long to tell her.
When you say Spiritus (Latin for Spirits) dementors come, and they will protect whoever wears the ring.
Dementors are dark spirits, so to speak. They are skeleton like figures that wear black cloaks, and they feed off of sadness or fear. So a child with this power would be in great danger, because it would automatically feel fear.
Only one spell that most wizards/warlocks/witches can't cast (Expecto Patronum) can keep them at bay, and it won't even last a minute before they come again. The reason they're so dangerous is they eat/kill your soul, so though you're not dead, you have no feelings besides fear and despair and you'll basically be an empty shell.
This power frightened her, so for nearly 40 years she didn't dare use it, but one day she didn't have much of a choice. She was caught in a net, and a human was coming. She couldn't fly, she couldn't get out, she was entangled and the net was around her neck.
She had no idea what a human would do if it saw her, so she said "Spiritus" and dementors came in seconds. The human came, but was forced to let her go, and then the dementors took him to a wizard to remove that memory. She began using the power more often, knowing that the dementors wouldn't harm her, and once the word got out humans, witches and wizards alike began trying to steal her ring, so she took it to a witch that she trusted and she put curses and spells on it. If anyone touches it, the ring will be extremely hot and make the person not able to grab it without suffering terrible pain and if they use cloth, the cloth will be set on fire. It cannot be taken off with magic, or taken off at all. She can't remove it, she can't break it to get it off, since one of the spells made it unbreakable, so she has to wear it forever. It prevents her from losing it, or having someone steal it. This is the only reason why she's not caught, so she never thinks she can be too safe when it comes to protecting the ring.
Personality: it depends all on her mood.
True form: (An animal) A siren. She has the body of a large bird, the feathers are pure white, and the head of a beautiful woman. She has long, blond hair and golden eyes. All sirens can sing to put anyone in a trance, but their weakness is they can't sing well when they're panicking, so if they're in danger they don't sing well enough to put anyone or anything in a trance. In this form, since she doesn't have fingers, the ring is on one of her toes.
Picture/Description: skinny, wavy blond hair that goes to her hips, golden eyes, beautiful, instead of having arms she has large, pure white wings. She's been to the city many times, though, but only on Halloween so it looks like her wings are just a costume. Like in bird form, the ring is on one of her toes. It's a golden ring with a large ruby on it that glows oddly, so that's what someone looks for if they're trying to find the ring.
