Dust shifted to his human form, pulling Aeval to him protectively. "If you're powers are at your strongest, why do you need us? Where do we fit in?" He sighed. "Believe me, I want to get back at the humans for what they've done to me and my pack, but I don't rush into war blindly either."
Aeval enjoyed Dust's protection. She trusted him completely. That was something she never thought herself capable of doing. She listened to them speak quietly.
Racine grinned appreciatively of Dust's caution. He was not a mindless brute, but rather a deep thinker. "Very wise of you to be that way. But to best explain it, I will say this.
