Mixie walked around, then someone stared at her and smiled. "Your hair's awesome! Where'd you get the dye?" She asked curiously, Mixie just froze. "Uh...Um...At a store...?" She said, it was natural since her normal form is a blue parakeet. The teen laughed, "Come on, tell me! It looks so cool!" "Uh...It's...From...." She looked around quickly to find a store that sold hair dye, but she of course had to stay put so all she could use to look was her crystal blue eyes.
"It's natural...Uh, it's...It's a deformity...?" She said. "What? Really?" The teenager said, surprised. "Well, sorry. At least it looks cool!" The teen said, "Hehe, yeah...Well, I gotta go." Mixie quickly walked away, as did the teenager. Mixie was shaking, as a scared parakeet would. She looked at lots of stores, and she finally found something that was interesting. They sold tons of seeds, potted plants, fruits, and vegetables.
She walked in, amazed at how wonderful it smelled and looked. Someone quickly walked up to her, "Hi! I'm Katy, what do you need?" She asked, Mixie stared. "Uh...I'd like a job." Mixie said. "Well, I'll ask the boss. You sit in that bench outside and wait." She said, Mixie awkwardly walked out and sat on a wooden bench just outside of the store.

Astrid awoke as the first ray of sunlight shone through the windows. She crawled down from the dresser and gently tapped on Raine's shoulder.

Raine awoke alert. He looked around frantic but saw only Astrid. So he settled down. He looked up at her and said, " Good-morning, how did you sleep?" He then stood up and hopped off the bed, to stretch out his stiffness.
Astrid shrugged, "Alright I guess." She walked into the bathroom and washer her hands before searching the room for her contacts.

Jason and Anna wandered the city, searching for a place that would hire them. Some places rejected them, while others they rejected. They were starting to become discouraged by the time lunch rolled around and they stopped to get something to eat

Astrid shrugged, "Alright I guess." She walked into the bathroom and washer her hands before searching the room for her contacts.

Raine watched her curiously. He wondered what she'd looked like with blue eyes. He hoped the blue wasn't permanent. He loved her natural eye color.

Upon finding the contacts Astrid put them on. She blinked a few times to let them fall in place. Then she opened up the door and walked out. "Come on, Raine. We need to find a job." Her eyes were a little wet because the contacts stung at first.

Mixie waited a while and then a man walked out. "So, you're the girl who wants to work here, I'm guessing?" He asked. Mixie nodded. "What's your name?" He asked her curiously, "Mixie." She replied, "Last name? Middle name?" He said, "Oh! Uh...Mixie...Mixie Diamond Elliot." Mixie said, her owners last name was Elliot, so she just stuck with that.
"Well Mixie, would you like to do a interview? How about tomorrow, we can't really be busy interviewing you when people will be shopping." He explained, Mixie nodded and smiled.
"What time will you be here?" He asked, "How about 8:00 AM, we'll have a good two hours before the store opens, so you can work that day if you're accepted." He told her. "Okay, thank you sir." Mixie said gladly and smiled widely. She walked away, waving goodbye.

Upon finding the contacts Astrid put them on. She blinked a few times to let them fall in place. Then she opened up the door and walked out. "Come on, Raine. We need to find a job." Her eyes were a little wet because the contacts stung at first.

Raine just stared at her. He slowly walked over to get a closer look. "I don't mean to stare, but those things look weird. They're not permanent, are they?" He asked quietly.

Mixie smiled widely as she walked about. She stumbled upon a 10$ bill and was full of joy. It wasn't much, but it was enough, and she was lucky to have found it.
She turned around and ran back to the store. She found a big container full of kale for 8$, she bought that along with a little container of watermelon for 2$. Everything there was cheap, and she loved it.
With her 10$ gone, she walked back to the hotel to put the items in the fridge, and she would surprise Jason and Anna with her find.
She decided to search for money, she looked in the couch cushions and found a 10$ bill again, and she searched the streets but with no luck.
She bought a big container of random fruits for the 10$ and was almost jumping with joy. She put it all in the fridge, listened to some Micheal Jackson for about 20 minutes, and walked back out to find another job option.

Sandor watched as the human threw a large bag into the dumpster. He waited until the man went back in, before getting his prize. He slowly walked over and grabbed the bag. He took it a little ways and opened the black bag. Oh, the humans were so wasteful. He grabbed a large slice of cold pizza out of a box. He loved this human food the best. Standing back up he ate his pizza as he slung the trash bag over his shoulder and walked away.
