Buchanan looked around nervously, but slowly began to answer her question. "They said I stole something, but I've never gotten in trouble for taking something I like."

Skye woke up. She walked down the hall and gently tapped on Angela's door. "Do you want to come with me?" She asked.
Carrow nodded to his statement. "Yes, I also had to learn that everything costs money. But I have been fortunate in me dealings with the humans. I was drawing with a piece of sandstone on the sidewalk one day and this man was amazed. He then brought me some drawing supplies. So I drew him a picture of the aerial cityscape, in gratitude for his kindness. he was stunned and had me draw five more. it turned out, he owned a gallery. He framed and sold them as a series. So he became my agent. Now I do paintings of this city. When I made enough to pay for this place, I stopped going back to the forest. But sadly, I stood in silence as I watched it's destruction, from my apartment window."
The elevator reached the top with a musical chime. The doors slowly opened right into her living room. "And we're here." She said as she indicated him to go first. She removed the key and put it back around her neck.

Raine grinned deeply at her words. If he died tomorrow, he'd die a happy raven. "The things you say to me, are out of a dream, I wish to never wake." He spoke as he looked at her longingly.
