" Its okay. It wasn't here. It was in Canada and they almost found out..." Natalie faded off as she walked into the apartment room. She gave Sandor a talk-about-this-later look and dropped the groceries in the kitchen and walked into her room and shut the door.

Natalie would not get caught again. No chances could be taken. No risks.

Sandor watched her go to the room and shut the door. He sighed softly and went about putting the food away. The then set about cleaning up after breakfast. He zoned out, deep in thought as he washed the dishes. After he was done, he dried and put them away. Satisfied that the kitchen was spotless, he went to his own room. He opened his door and walked over to the bed. He stretched out on his back and looked at the ceiling. He was so exhausted, his head actually hurt. He slowly closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep.

Natalie flopped on her bed and fell into a dreamless sleep.

Autumn frowned at their flirting, walking just a few steps behind them. She too jumped when the siren whaled, but quickly regained her composure. When they got to the apartment she saw the two go into the separate rooms. Wanting to be alone she stepped out onto the fire escape.

Mixie bought lots of meat and fruits, three T-shirts and three pairs of pants for Jason, Anna, and herself, and then she went back home and took a bath in parakeet form.

Jason woke to the sound of the bird taking a bath and smiled a little, At least she was alright. But that thought made him think of Anna again and he frowned, sitting up and rubbing his head. He looked to the bed then to the door, worried and sad. He had never spent this long away from his twin before and he didn't like it.

Sandor awoke from his nap and walked out into the living room. He saw Autumn out on the fire escape. Confused he walked over to the window and sat on the windowsill. "Hey? What's wrong, Autumn? Why are you out here?" He asked concerned. He reached up, to rub the sleep from his eyes, then refocused on her.

Sandor shrugged and said, " You just looked like I do, when I have something bothering me. I'm sorry if I'm intruding. Just let me know and I'll leave you alone." After a few moments he said, "You know I still haven't showed you the rest of the fountains. Anytime you want to see them, just let me know. Okay?" He then looked down the street a bit, in awkward silence. He wasn't a word smith, he didn't know what to say, half the time. But she had not been herself, he had wondered if he had said something to offend her.

Mixie was done and she shook herself off, she trotted into the living room, still in parakeet form until she saw Jason. She shifted and saw his upset face, "Anna will come back, she's a wolf, wolves are strong and brave and can fend for themselves." She told him, knowing he was worried about Anna.
