The guard remained unafraid. He called in some guards to help him.
~
Diaval slept for a very long time.
"Maybe a rabbit." she said thoughtfully. "Or some type of meat."
(What happened to the twins?)

While the guard was gone getting some help Ember used her now very sharp claw to unlock the lock. She had a plan for when they lined up at the cell door.
---
(Do you want to skip to morning? Everyone seems to have different times so I guess they can, too:P)

The guards stood outside the door, closely watching her moves.
~
(Sure, you can start.)

Diaval slept for a very long time.

(What happened to the twins?)

(i dont remember oh wait they were going to the library)
Colt laughed. "How about a burger?"
(I thought they were going to a place with free internet???)
"Sure," She shrugged.
Miri sat across him. "This is nice," She said observing the costumers.
(Thanks, that I might have missed something. ;) )
"You're coming with me, you can chose to come, but if not I will drag you out of this cell.” He ignored her comment, following the orders that Axel had given him.
~
Diaval went to his room, and quietly shut the door behind him. He explored the room before falling asleep on the bed.
She sighed. "Ugh, perhaps I could get used to it," She said flicking her curly hair behind her.
~
"Its alright, I've never had anyone give me a complement before. I didn't know what to say." He rushed inside, and tightly held the girl in his arms as they lifted.
~
Sonora checked the traffic before crossing the street, glancing behind to see if Keira had followed.
~
(She shifted into human form, then shifted back into a human but almost wasn't able to. So she is in human form, and can't shift anymore. At least for now...)
Amar laid her hand in her lap. Closing her eyes she tried to think of something nice to keep her mind off of the pain, but memories of her parents rushed into her mind. She remembered that horrible moment when the knife sliced through the air, and with a loud crack her horn fell upon the ground. She remembered the cry of agony and with a shiver her eyes fluttered open. "What shall we do with my hand?" She asked with concern.

Raine tilted his head at that. "Well, if it's an inconvenience. Perhaps I'll just take to kissing my hand instead." He made his hand into a talking face. Then held it out to Astrid and made his thumb move like a mouth. "That's good! Which means more kisses for me! " He then brought it up close to his lips and said "But, Hannah, I can't kiss you, right here in frount of Astrid. Well if you insist, maybe just a little peck." The then made a loud kissing sound as he brought it to his lips. His eyes watched Astrid with laughter in them.
~~
Carrow smiled slightly and nodded her head. The elevator opened up into her living room and she set the bags on the couch. "I shall order a twin bed for her tomorrow, but for now she can sleep in one of our beds. I got her some night gowns and some toiletries. Let's lay her out on the couch for now. I think, I shall prepare something for a late dinner, if you will excuse me. I know the little thing must be starved." She bowed her head, before she went into the kitchen.
~~
Keira glanced around her, before she followed after Sonora. She wasn't sure about this Internet cafe. It sounded like a lot of humans would be there. She look at Sonora, and trusted her premonition. taking a deep breath, she ran across the street to catch up with her. "Why would they let us in, if we don't have a computer? " She asked curiously.

Navar thought of only one place that could help her, a medical emergency, would make getting her there a whole lot faster and easier. But for the first time in his life, the thought of turning her over to those monsters, filled him with unease. Out loud he told her, "let me call for help, we'll get you to a place that can set your broken bones and numb your pain. Okay?" He walked over to get his satellite phone. He called the only one he trusted, Zypher.

Zypher was driving back to the apartment when his phone rang. He pulled it out and looked at the number. Seeing who it was, the answered immediately, "Hello Navar."

Navar looked back at Amar and smiled nicely. Then turned his back to her, to talk. "Zyph, I have a situation. I need a field assist, with a medical follow-up. I'm sending you my coordinance. What is your estimated time of arrival?

Zypher look at the coordinates and then glanced at the clock. He then mentally calculated the time. "There will be a slight delay, I need to drop by the apartment, to get the Humvee. I'm almost there now. So within the hour." He said as he pulled into the parking garage.

Navar hated drawing his friend into this, but she needed help fast, and walking would take too long. "See you then.....thanks." He ended the call.

Astrid rolled her eyes, and scoffed. "I'm SO jealous."
~
Buchanan slowly laid her on the couch. He looked for a blanket, and finding one in a closet laid it over her. Then he went to see if Carrow needed help.
~
"Yes, if you pay for a meal you're allowed to use theirs for free." She smiled, patting a the few dollars she had in her pocket.
~
"Ok," She smiled trustingly. Standing up slowly she walked over to his fire and stoked it with her good hand. Amar was a giver, and when someone helped her she always felt compelled to repay them for their kindness. She laid down near the warming heat of the fire, wishing she could to more for Navar after everything he had done for her. Before she could think of something she could do for him her weary brain drifted into a deep sleep.
Luce shrugged, "That's what I told him. But he wants it and he'll stop at nothing until he gets it. Axel's a cold and cruel human. "She explained.

Jason nodded and looked to the hotel "You two want to stay with us here?" He asked and looked to them as Anna headed for their room, wanting to get cleaned up

"My mother died not even a year after my father. The doctors said that she was in perfect health, but even then I understood that she died of a broken heart." Her eyes twinkled as she remembered the warm memory of her mother. "The government threw me into an orphanage where I was juggled from family to family. I never stayed at a home longer than a month. They never tried to understand why I would run, but I didn't care. It was good enough that I knew no one could ever replace my parents, or pretend to be them." She paused as she remembered how lonely it was when she ran away, running alone in darkness to a home that no longer existed. "When I was sixteen that man came to the orphanage and adopted me. He seemed nice, yet I kept my distance. As soon as I was alone with him I realized that he was heartless criminal. He'd lock me away with little food and demand I give him what he wanted. I didn't know what he wanted, and I told him that but he never believed me." She closed her eyes, remembering a dark memory, trying to speak it to him even though it was painful. "He became crueler until he would beat me with a long whip... I was so scared of him, yet too afraid to move, too afraid to run, too afraid to stay. One night he struck me across my face. I couldn't remain strong any more, I fled from him in fear he would kill me..." She sighed, tears glittering in her eyes from pain that never left her, but she couldn’t cry, she had shed many tears long ago when no one heard her until she could cry no longer.

Mark got up and went to her, hugging her to himself. "We will get out of this place somehow. I will get you out"
She nodded. "I hide in the woods until I turned eighteen. I got a job, and built a life for myself. After all these years I though he was gone, but I was foolish to think so."

"It's not foolish, when someone seems to not be hunting you it's not unusual to think they are gone. Besides, he seemed a bit shocked to see you too." Mark said

Ember pushed the door open with great force, knocking them down. She took the key from a guard that was for her cell and closed her cell door, locking herself in with the key. Fleeing right in front of them would be foolish, she had to wait until her time.

Gold woke up early to the smell of eggs and toast, she was curious and went downstairs to see what the smell was.

(the library has free internet)
Colt smiled. The waitress came, he order a burger and a chicken Caesar salad. When she left he turned back to Miri. "How long have you been in the city?"

The guards sighed with frustration and left to talk with Axel.

Diaval heard a door shut nearby and got out of bed. When his eyes had adjusted he opened his door, and followed Gold down the stairs. "Good morning!"

Ember hid the key in a crack in the wall so they couldn't somehow take it from her and she waited.

"Good morning, Diaval." Gold said nicely. She went into the kitchen and saw Mariam cooking omelets while Harold made some toast. "Good morning, sleepy heads." Mariam said and smiled at them.

Raine tipped his head back and laughed to the sky. "My dear, sweet Astrid. You are absolutely necessary for my happiness. For life without you, would be unfathomable." He confessed as he looked over at her.
~~
Carrow was looking in the refrigerator, unsure what to fix. She knew deers ate vegetables and fruits. But could the vegetables be cooked? She looked up at Buchanan as he walked in. "I'm not sure what to fix her. I'm a bit out of my element. Surely she can't live on only salads. What should I cook for her?" She asked distraught.
~~
Keira was a little confused. "But I'm not hungry, I still have part of my sandwich. Why would I buy a meal, just to sit in a cafe?" She said irritated at such a concept.
~~
Navar watched her sleep. She finally looked so peaceful. He studied her face and for the fist time, he saw the slight scar at her forehead. He was so engrossed, that he'd failed to hear Zypher's approach, until he spoke to him. "Your slipping, Navar. If I was hunting you, I would of had you." Navar snapped his attention away from Amar, to see Zypher standing a few feet away. "I'm sorry, I was thinking about something." Navar explained to him.

Zypher just nodded nonchalantly. "Is she the medical emergency? She looks fine to me. What's wrong with her." He asked matter of fact.

Navar looked back at Amar and said, "She's a unique shifter, with special differences. She stepped on a rock in her.....unicorn form. Now that it's removed, she can't heal with the shift. She has to heal like a human. Which means, the humans must set the bones. "He explained.

Zypher walked over to get a closer look. "A unique shifter is right, I thought they were myth. I've never seen one before. She is beautiful Navar." He said reverently.

Claire finally had enough money to buy proper clothes. She finally looked like a normal person and she started looking for a job.

Joyau was strolling through town, humming to music that she'd hear as she passed.
