Anna nodded and looked to him "Our mission isn't finished yet" She said simply then sighed and looked at her hands. "If we could stand to loose anyone, we could use our own tracking chip to see where this Menagerie is. Or capture a guard and track them after they 'escape' us"

"Mermaids, yes." Ember said and looked to the water as she got off then thanked the Thestreals for the ride. 

Zypher glanced at Anna and said, "No, our mission is far from done. But you have some very good ideas." He complimented her.

Cadeon climbed off the Thestrels back. "Thank you for the ride, I'll never forget it." He said pleasantly to the Thestrel. He then walked over to Ember and looked at the water again curiously. "Is it true they can bespell you with their voices? " He inquired.

Taylor relaxed a little. "That sounds really cool. Why where they in prison?" She asked curiously.

"The humans locked them up in there." Nashton watched as Cadeon and Ember flew away on the Thistles. Then looked back at the new girl. "Um, I gave you my name, so I am at a disadvantage, by not knowing yours?" He stated plainly with the small smile.

Nashton looked at Taylor with speculation. He leaned over and took a sniff. "You're a large cat. I don't know what kind. You smell kinda like Cadeon. I'm I right at least that much?" He asked curiously.

Ericsson slowly opened his eyes. He blinked rapidly in order to focus. He was in a bed somewhere. He looked around cautiously. That’s when he saw Ashton sitting at a desk in the other room. He moved his hand to trying to sit up and alarms sounded. He froze as she turned around to look at him. Her concerned face broke out into a smile. She came into the room and shut the alarms off and said, "You had me worried. I didn't think you'd ever wake up. How are you feeling?" She asked.

Ericsson looked at Ashton and shook his head. "Like a bus ran me over." He explained as he gently felt his abdomen.

Ashton sighed deeply and said,"Well, that's to be expected being shot at that close range. An inch more to the left, you'd be sporting a toe tag. Your lucky who ever shot you, didn't get your spleen. You would have bleed out in minutes." She looked at him sympathetic.

Nashton frowned, as he took a step back from her. He looked around horrified that she thought he was an idiot and then embarrassed, that maybe someone had heard her. Nashton politely said, " I'm so sorry you feel that way, Taylor. Um, I'll be going then. You must not like skunks. Bye!" He looked over at the woods and decided to go for a walk. He turned and walked quickly over to them.

Nashton stopped and looked at her confused. "Why made such a statement a joke. I don't get that kind of humor. Like Cadeon calls me stink boy or little stinker. I do not get it, I do not stink." He said with a shrug. "Well, what's your story. I've never met a lion before. " he said conventionally, as he started walking again.
