I did, though once it was cut down it didn't affect me too much, water is water, right? Though it's still sad, since the other animals had to go to the city. Or, most of them." She said, some sadness in her voice.

Dust snorted and started out of the water."I try not to think about it, but sometimes it's hard. I mean, there are babies all by themselves, because humans kill their parents." She said as she watched a huge, thick water snake slither onto the rock. She smiled a little at it as she pet it's head gently. "But, maybe the babies are safe, because most feel pity for them, unlike they do with adults."
Cole sat down and smiled back.

Dust smirked. "Each beast has his own problems. They are his only, not mine or any one else's."She looked at him, "Maybe you'd feel different if your father was killed right in front of you and you were left to take care of your sick mother for an entire year when you were only 15." She said, looking a little angry since he only seemed to care about himself.
