Azure laid down to and closed her eyes. She thought hard for many hours until she drifted into a deep sleep.

Vaughan watched over Azure's sleeping form. He relished the sense of purpose. He'd glance at her periodically but he always returned his gaze to the edge of the pool.

Keldwyn finished drinking and came over to where Sirène was looking out. "The humans only have themselves to blame. When you take away a creatures natural food source, they are bound to adapt." She stated simply.

"It's another word for helping someone. You have been greatly abused and you have emotional scars. I'm here to help you with them, if I can. But you are a remarkable shifter and young woman." Keely complemented.

Sirène nodded. "And they seem to be adapting well. I'm sure they'll come back, for they probably know there are enough people to feed all of them. But I do feel bad for the people, for it's not everyone's fault that the forest was cut down. I'm sure some people didn't want it to happen." She said. "You can't look at some of them and blame all of them."

"Thank you." Marilyn replied, not as quiet this time. She didn't know exactly how old she was, but she guessed she wasn't old.

Once Carly was done making hot chocolate she gave a cup to Mia and a cup to Ember. "So, Mia, do you want to explore the city tomorrow? It's too late to explore today." Ember asked.

Astrid smiled at him, then, wrapping her arms around him, cuddled against him.

Buchanan grind as he saw Liana. He groaned a little as he scooted closer to the edge of the bed and gestured for Carrow to lay beside him.

When Sonora awoke from a good sleep she crept up to Keira bed then jumped up on it, hard.

( I have noticed that my phone has fun changing the he and she's on me. Very embarrassing and annoying. )

Raine looked down and saw the two giant spiders and black drapped figures. "What on earth are those?! We'd better get inside, Astrid. NOW!" He said franc, as he held her close and backed away from the railing.

Carrow smiled warmly and stood up and gently eased onto the bed. She then rearranged Liana to be between them. Carrow leaned over and kissed him. "You had me so worried about you. You never should have been down there all alone. But thank you for your quick thinking, or I'd be who knows where. My hero, yet again." She whispered softly.

Keira conditioned response to a threat, was to shift immediately and was ready for an attack. In her maned wolf form she growled viciously, until it dawned on her, who she was looking at. "What was that for! I almost attacked you!" She said with a sigh.

Eleanor finally found her baby. She was in a cage in someone's house, and the human looked horrified as it stared at the baby spider that was the size of a corgi. Eleanor and Earl shifted to their human forms and knocked on his door. He opened it and looked at them, and Eleanor shifted right in front of him, then ran into his house while Earl shifted and attacked him. Eleanor broke the small cage and let her baby get on her back with the others. They both ran out, Earl carrying the man with him for food for tomorrow."

Taylor desperately glanced around the kitchen ,"Truce?" She said hopefully as a last attempt to excape his ice cubes.

"Orson, if Axel let me go I would've broken my way back in to get you." She got him all the way over to the edge of the parking lot,""Orson." She whispered fearfully,"I don't know where we are. Where can we go where Markus won't find us?"

"Sure!" He said as he popped one ice cube in his mouth and dumped the others in the sink. He the then walked out of the kitchen and headed to the living room.

Orson didn't know where they were either. But he knew that tracking chip was sure to bring Markus right to them. Once again he was a threat for a different reason. Why did he let Xavier put this new collar on him. "You have to get that chip out of me. That is the first thing that needs to be done, when we are far enough away from here. Do you know where they put it on me, if you do, you can just cut it out and smash it."

Taylor followed him out. She sat on the couch, and smiled,"Soo...."

Kristen nodded,"I hope you can't feel this." She pulled out a little pen knife, and turned him so his right shoulder was facing her. She made a little incision in his arm, and dug around for the locator. She hooked it, pulled it out, and crushed it on the pavement. She tore off the bottom of her shirt and tied it around his arm to stop the bleeding,"You okay?" She asked concerned.

"And you don't want to leave for him?" Nisha asked,"That's a pretty hard choice."

Kyra nodded and settled to her belly, thinking. "I won't leave without him, but I hope he will leave with me. I cannot stand the cage" She said and looked at the bars again.

Luce came out from organizing the chest freezer. She walked into the kitchen. "Hey Zypher, I put the new meat on the bottom of the freezer and the older meat on top. I left one of the roasts in the fridge and ground beef out. Like you said." She said quietly.

Zypher smiled proudly at her and said, "You didn't have to do all that Luce. But thanks, that will make it easier."

She grinned as she headed out of the kitchen. "It was nothing, really." She went to the couch and pulled the throw off the back of the couch and wrapped it around her, she had a little bit of a chill. She curled up in the corner of the couch to watch the rest of the movie. It was at her favorite part.

Cadeon looked at her surprised. "Are you sure I'm not to big for you to carry? " He asked.

Ashton shrugged and said, "It's not very scientific but I thought it couldn't hurt to try."

Ericsson glanced over at Rosie and said, "I worked with the man that captures and keeps shifters. I would call Zypher when the transported them, so he could hijack the transport. But the things I'd seen and hadn't been able to stop, for fear of blowing my cover. Is it terrible for me to say, I'm glad I'm out of that place."

Arran went up to the buffet breakfast. She got a little eggs, bacon and hash browns. She looked at Angela happily.

Jason came out soon with clean clothes on and joined her on the couch to watch the rest of the movie. He glanced over to Raine as he and Astrid came back in, looking scared "What's going on?"

"We will need the lettuce and other trimmings cut up, the taco shells cooked, meat and soy-meat cooked and seasoned. Nachos have to be warmed up, along with the cheese for them. Jalopinoes for the ones that want them." Anna said and tried to think of anything else to go with this meal.

"Not in your cat form" Ember said and smiled at him then started climbing up. "It looks like they are leaving, but they will likely be back."

Estelle nodded then sighed and looked down "I hope it works" She said then shifted back to her dragon form. She looked to her wing then moved it experimentally

Rosie looked at her cup, focusing on it for the moment. "We do what we can as we can. No one can do everything." She said then looked to him again "You helped to free the ones you could help, that is what is important"

Angela looked over the choices and got some biscuits with honey and some hash browns then a waffle. She smiled at Arran then went with her to find a seat.

Keldwyn looked at Sirène and asked, "You care what happens to these humans?"

"Some of them, yes. They are animals, just like you and me." She explained.
