Nashton chuckled, "You'll get no argument there. Can you imagine the cobwebs they leave behind? Even worse, can you imagine what being stuck in one of them would be like?" He shuddered at the thought.

Racine looked into the gazing pool and grinned triumphantly. "Looks like that human underestimated those two." He said with humor.

Thoran step forward and asked, "Shall I hunt them down, sire?"

"No need, they are heading for the Fay portal, we'll intercept them. I do not want Avalon to get a hold of him." Racine stated.

Blister was waking up slightly, but she still had fuzzy vision and she felt stiff. She turned her beaked head toward the guards. She attempted to get up, but was still a bit sleepy from two tranq darts.

 

Luis didn't hear him. He came back with a needle and got some blood. "See? It didn't hurt her." Luis told Follower and left to put it in his lab.

"No, what is that? Does it provide protection from them?" She asked curiously.

Keely shook her head and said, "No, but the recipes for scones is fairly simple. Perhaps one of these times we could sneak into the kitchen and make a batch of our own."

"Well, kind of. From what I've heard, it's a magical ring that gives anyone the power to control the dementors, and a creature has it, but no one really knows who that creature is. I wonder if it was the owner of the ring who made the dementors come to the city." Sirène explained.

Danika nodded then looked around herself again at the remains of the forest. It looked really bad in the daylight. She walked over to a stump and lightly touched the center with her horn. "It makes me sad to see the trees all gone like this. Would it be dangerous for a unicorn to go to the city?" She asked and looked at the seedling that was now growing on the stump.

Estelle blinked and looked at Ashton, shifting back to her human form again and walking closer "But why? Isn't he going to help me get back to mother?"

Rosie shrugged and looked away, blushing a little "I suppose, but when you grow up in a military like family, fighting is your worth to them. Healing is just a side job most of the time."

Angela looked at the other female for a moment before smiling back at her "Hello, I am Angela. I am here to help Arran speak." She said gently

Jackie entered the city and moved to the dementors, using a spell to drive them back away from the humans. The humans she passed would remember nothing from the last couple of hours. The spiders were leaving on their own, so she left them be for now, though she might go to try to find them later.

Aurora landed and looked at the ravine. She could scent Estelle there, but the scent was old, and had human scents overlaying it. She roared at the scents then took off, searching again, this time closer to the humans

Zypher nodded as he opened two cans of cheese in a microwavable bowl and heated it. He walked over and took a deep sniff, "I think I should have a taste of that meat, Anna. Because it smells to die for and I wouldn't want anyone to actually die from it." He teased.

Cadeon grinned, "Okay then. I hope you are better then the Thestrels. My first foray into flying wasn't pleasant. But then Ember is a gorgeous Phoenix. What's to fear there?" He said aloud to himself.

Ashton cursed her self. She shouldn't have said that out loud. So she tried to change the subject. "How will we find your mother? She must be franc, having lost you."

Sandra looked at Arran and frowned. "But she is a mute. She can't talk. How is that even possible? " She said.

Arran smiled happily at her as she signed, "I can speak perfectly fine with my hands. Now I have a voice through Angela."
