Aaran hesitated then nodded, glad the minion nonsense was over. "You can. Just be careful." He warned.

Racine smiled pleased, as he rubbed his hands together, whispering a chant softly. He didn't extend his hand, until the right hand was aglow with his own power. He then carefully rested his hand on Aaran's chest. He looked at Aaran as he started drawing on his poewr slowly. Absorbing it into himself. Racine's eyes started glowing as a result. After a few minutes, of infusion, Racine withdrew his hand. Racine internalized the sample of Aaran's power and processed it. Racine stared at his hand as it started to form ice on it. He concentrated on it and it went back to normal. He then looked to the distant storm and concentrated on it as well. His eyes started glowing with the effort. But gradually, it started disapating. "Hum, come with me Aaran. I think I have a solution." He explained as he turned and walked towards the portal.

Elina was transfixed with what she saw. Maybe there was a way to help Aaran without it costing his freedom.

Aaran watched shocked when Racine also created ice. Feeling weak and tired, Aaran followed Racine to the portal,"What is it? What can help me control it?" He asked eagerly.

"That is going to be one fat phoenix." She said amazed,"He's crazy!!"
~~~
Kristen watched him silently waiting for directions.
Nashton smiled as he looked at Taylor. "Well, he is burning up the calories! " He bust out laughing at the joke.
~~~
Orson frowned, "I'm not smelling anything beyond cypress. Maybe we should find it the old fashioned way. With our eyes." He teased.

When they started laughing Bob shyed away a few feet.
~~~
Kristen laughed,"Old fashioned? You make me feel old." She grinned,"That makes you a year older than old." She laughed happily.
Racine stepped through and waited for Aaran. "You are an earth born God. Which means, you powers should come from that realm. But what confuses me, is you shouldn't be able to generate your powers in the void. Because it is apart from the earth, because it's on a parallel plan. A different dimension in a sense. So we have to see if Fey magic can help contain all of you excess power your generating and store it safely. Because right now you are projecting it outward, not inward. You feel slightly tired, right? That is because I drew off of you excess power." Racine explained it the best he could.
(Is that alright? If not I'll change it. :) )
"Oops! We best behave. We are spooking Bob." Nashton said softly.
~~~
Orson smiled at Kristen. "Haw, haw! Good thing you don't like me for my age. Because I'm way older then you." He replied. He was feeling a lot better being outdoors. Being one with the woods and having Kristen with him. Was pretty nice, as well.

Absmi shrugged awkwardly. "It just a little bracelet to remember me by. " She explained simply. But she was very happy, Dawn liked it so.
~~~
Degan looked over at Zia and said, "Yes, what do you need? I'd offer to share the matress, but you seem determined to sleep underneath the bed."
~~~
Aeval sighed as she closed the book. "Do warg's have histories? What are some of yours?" She asked curiously.
Dawn smiled. "Everyone is so wonderful here."
~~~~~
Zia snorted and went back under the bed.
~~~~~
Dust opened his eyes and lifted his head. "Not written in books, unless Orcs cared to do so. No, not in books but in stories. Many stories of great battles, great losses." He smiled a bit at the thought, then added with a tone of sorrow as his face fell, "But they are gone now. And my history is no more then tales intended to keep children at home during the dark hours." He put his head back on his paws and sighed deeply.

Absmi asked, "Would you like me to put it on you?"
~~~
Degan pointed at the now empty spot. "My point exactly." He said with humor.
~~~
"Dust, they always villainize what they don't understand. You at lest have a grand history." Aeval looked down at the cover of the dragon book. After a moment, she said," I read these stories of grandeur and noble triumph. But I already know the truth about me. I've spent my whole life, running away and hiding. No grandeur there, just cowardice and they do not put that in books." She said softly.

(No that's great :) )
Racine had lost him at god,"A god? If I'm a god why is it so hard to control my powers?" He said frustrated. "Will taking my excess power effect my abilities?" He stepped through the portal with him, but ice was crackling under his feet.

When he heard his name, Bob went over and stood on Nashton's foot peeping expectantly.

"I don't have treats for you." She opened her hands,"But Nashton has a treat hidden deep inside his shoe."

Bob continued to stare at her.
~~~
Kristen laughed,"Yep! A year is sooo much older. But you act older." She said pointedly.
