Kristen blushed,"Pretty well." She realized she was still draped over him but she didn't want to get up,"Do you mind if I just stay like this?" She asked blushing a deep scarlet.

"Of course you didn't!"He shouted after him,"You used magic or something! Turn around and tell me you didn't trip me using magic either." He demanded.

Orson smiled openly and said, "Not at all. In fact, I quite like where you're at."

"Look, ice boy! I don't answer to you. Look at you acting like a child. Stopping feet and whining. I know Elina likes grown men, not baby boys. Don't worry, I'll keep her happy and content." Thorn said with venom.

Aaran punched him in the stomach with a quick uppercut. His face was a deep red,"Don't talk about the princess like that! You don't deserve to say her name, let alone say that!" He spat.

Taylor stood and flicked off the safety. She fired a couple shots at the nearest figure, and turned to fire more.

Anna moved, using the wall as a guide through so she could get closer and fire again. She frowned at the whine of the bullet striking the door instead of  the man, the one screaming outside was skewing her aim

Ember cried out, falling back from the blade. Scarlet blood dotted her sapphire feathers, a mix of his and her own as she hopped back, trying to take flight though her body was still leaden from the tranq before.

Aurora glanced back then tucked her wings again "I can't stay down long, you will have to jump when I say" She warned as she plummeted towards a field. 

Jason sheathed the handgun and grabbed his hold on her scales again at the sudden drop "Got ya, when we jump, roll to take the momentum" He told Cadeon. "Try to go limp or you might break a bone' 

Zypher jumped up and bit the arm pointing a gun in Anna's direction. He grunted as a gunshot grazed his shoulder. But he didn't let go, even as the human used the weapon to bludgeon him.

The man stumbled back aginst the wall. He recovered enough to go for his gun. He'd teach that bird a lesson. But something was wrong. He fell to his knees instead. He felt a wetness at his side. When he took off his mask to look, he saw his insides, were now his outsides. The Phoenix's claws had disemboweled him. "Figures!" He muttered in agony.

Cadeon nodded at Jason's instructions. "Okey! I'll do my best!" He yelled to him.

The drone was in Aurora's tail wind. He sent off a missile and pulled up to get away from the payload. "Signed, sealed and delivered! Find you're way out of that!" Darius said, pleased with himself.

Zypher jumped up and bit the arm pointing a gun in Anna's direction. He grunted as a gunshot grazed his shoulder. But he didn't let go, even as the human used the weapon to bludgeon him.

After a moment he turned and started shooting at the missile, hoping to set it off before it could reach them and hurt Aurora.

Bravo team arrived and climbed out of the SUV and saw Ember. Gibson pointed at the Phoenix and said, "Tag her and bag her. Then take her down below! The rest of you, gear up! We're heading in!"

There was no winning this battle, there were just too many of them. That's when he felt the needle drive into his neck. The sneaky human had a hypodermic needle. He faulted enough, that the man got his arm back. Zypher stumbled a moment before the human's foot came up and knocked him out faster then the drug could work. Blackness engulfed him.

Cadeon hung on so tight at Jason's words. His hands were white from the strain.

Darius followed them to see the missile hit it's mark, for a confirmed kill. But when the missile prematurely detonated, he crushed loudly. "You'll pay for that! Gangster has to go! Second verse, not the same as the first!" He said, as he engaged back in battle with Aurora. "Here I come! Now why don't you want to play with me? "
