Jackie smiled at her then started the car to drive to the city. She wanted to get the two shifters and get them back home safely.

The gaurd heard footsteps, so he turned to look down the hallway. That's when he saw Ashton and the others. He returned his gaze to Azure and asked, "How is Vaughan? "
Ashton sighed and said "scrapped and bruised, but he's on the mend." Ashton thought of an idea that maybe no one would get hurt. "I have to do some X-rays on these two. So I need their collars off. Because they interfere with the X-ray machine." She explained.
The gaurd looked at her slightly suspicious. "Did Markus authorized this?" He asked her.
"No, Fetch, I just take random shifters and X-ray them. What do you think?! Look, don't do it! That's fine with me. You know I've been working for twelve hours straight. First it was that gunshot, then the mermaid mess and now this. I just need some rest and I have a date with a pillow. But I have to do this now, it won't wait. So why don't you go and bother Markus. That way you can verify his orders. You know how he loves that. I'm sure he'll be understanding. " She said sarcastically. But inside she was a ball of raw nerves. She held her bag tightly in one hand and her other shoved deeply in her pocket. To keep their shaking under control.
Fetch looked at her hard a few moments, before he said, "That won't be necessary. I'll just take them off. Which one do you need first? "
Ashton looked over at them and asked, "Any volunteers? "
