Taylor didn't realize how touchy he was right now. "Nashton, I was just joking, you know." She said quietly. She rested her head on his shoulder, thankful to be in his arms. "I love you." She whispered then started to drift off to sleep.

"WAIT! What four people?!? I did not almost kill Taylor, liar. I don't remember you rescuing me. That was all me. From the deal to getting the kid out of there. All you guys did was show up." She hissed,"I appreciate the thought but I owe you no graditude. None."

"Oh, then I'm sorry then. Sometimes I can never tell." Nashton apologized. He looked up at every car that came into the parking lot. That's when he saw Jackie. "Taylor I love you too. Now let's get a move on, our ride is here!" He said with relief.

Cadeon stopped and turned back around. "Who were the four you attached? Kristen first, Orson second, Sergio third and Nashton after your sister. Because unlike you, he was protecting you sister. As far as us just showing up at the facility. Rescue is relative. But do you honestly believe that guy would have released you otherwise?" He retorted hotly.

"I don't know." He declined politely but he really wasn't sure if he was offered the position if he wouldn't take it. It might be the only way to no longer be a servant. It might be the only way to have his princess. Then the other generals couldn't treat him like that. It really would be a privilege to serve the king.

Kristen smiled thankfully,"Thank you." She kissed his cheek softly,"I feel pretty bad right now. I can't keep my hands off you, and you're just chill." She giggled,"The price of having me. I end up following you around like a puppy dog. Ah well, I can stop touching you as much later if you like."

Enoch nodded nostalgic. "Only the fates can know what is to be. As the humans are found of saying, 'you'll cross that bridge when you get there.'" He said as he raised his hand and concentrated. Small rocks started to levitate off the ground. With a flick of his wrist, he sent them at a target, which caused it to exploded it into splinters.

Orson grinned at her with light in his eyes. "You'll get no complaints from me. My lovely. " He said affectionately.

"Woah!" He grinned then made a similar gesture with his hand. The target exploded in icey shards. "The wood has water in it. Since ice expands if I just freeze the water molecules fast enough it expands too rapidly and it just falls apart." He explained.

"Good." She replied lovingly, and nuzzled his neck, breathing his scent in deeply.

Dawn took his hand and smiled. "Well we wouldn't want that." She teased.

Zia only half listened to their words. She kept her eyes on the door, almost expecting something to go wrong. Pushing the thought deep insider her, she turned back to the two. "When can we leave?" she asked rather bluntly.

"Definitely not." He said with a chuckle. He reluctantly released her hand. "Shall we shift or walk back in these forms? " He asked curiously.

"We must wait here, Zia. Menagerie was attacked today. So they are taking counter measures. They are busy transporting shifters out. The ones that they have converted into weapons. They are called The Priority Ones. They reside on the bottom floors. They are the nastiest and the soulless of them all." Aurelius explained calmly.

Degan stood up and said, "But you said, you and I, was on that list. Why?"

Aurelius looked to him and said, "You were to be broken and then trained." She looked to Zia and continued. "They were waiting for you to get attached to her, then they would have used her aginst you."

Degan looked to Zia with pure horror on his face. "No! I would have fought them with all I had. They wouldn't ha....." he trailed off, reluctant to admit the truth to Aurelius's words. But they were very true. He had been close to the point of no return. Had they done that, it would have pushed him over the edge. He looked down at the ground in resignation. "Thank you, for sparing me that fate." He said with respect.

Aurelius said with tears in her eyes, "Who do you think, they would have used aginst me. I was under the illusion that Markus was my adopted father. That he truly loved me. But he only had plans for me too. Ones that he hid very well, but I still glimpsed them. He had plans to use me in his war. Me seeing the future, comes in pretty handy."

Aeval shifted and quietly walked out of the cave. She was getting tired of waiting around and needed to get out for some food.

Aeval shifted and quietly walked out of the cave. She was getting tired of waiting around and needed to get out for some food.

"These forms." Dawn replied. "That way in case anyone sees us they will think we were just taking a short walk or something."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait. What do you mean use me against him?" Zia asked, a hint of concern and anger in her tone.

Dust watched her leave for a second before getting up and following after.

Anna quickly cleaned her knife then searched the guard for weapons. She didn't need them, as she had just proven, but they were better than being unarmed. She glanced around and noticed the mermaid, going over to free her while they were there.

Ember nodded then shrugged "Then after they arrive, tell your friends. Either way, if they give up they will likely not be hurt"

Estelle stayed close, though she too could scent the blood. She didn't have the experience to know if it was male or female though

Kyra nodded and smiled at him "We will have to watch for the traps, that's how I got caught." She said sadly

Jackie nodded and smiled as they pulled intop the parking lot then looked around for Taylor and Nashton

Star dipped her head. "You knew her too?" She asked softly. There was so much she wanted to ask about, but she didn't know how, and this was likely not the best time.

"Rollerblades? Are those the shoes with wheels?" There were a few things she wasn't as familiar with still. They just hadn't come up in her training, and hadn't seemed important enough to ask about before.

Ashton held out the keys to the cell to Anna. "Here." She said softly.

Bertram said quietly. "But I'm not free yet. Markus still controls me by my Kelpie nature. He has my bridal. Until I get that back, I can't go with you."

Nektar had gone to gather his few things. He was excited at the prospect of escape.

Zypher shifted and walked in human form cautiously. He looked into the room and saw Anna and Ashton. "We meet again." He said with humor. He looked at the dead gaurd and smiled. "Nice handy work." He complimented.

Ashton looked over at Estelle and went to her. She was to young to see the carnage. "Sweetheart, do look!" She said softly.

Graydon flinched at the thought of going back to the place. "Perhaps we shouldn't get to choose. Maybe I could practice flying. " He offered.

Sergio pointed, "There they are!" She said happily.

Jatevt nodded, "Yes, I did. Your family and ours were quite close." He stated. He grinned at Falkirk and said, "I don't suppose I could steal her for a moment."

Falkirk blushed and said, "But of course. I'll just go mingle and give you privacy." He gently took Star's hand from his elbow and brushed a kiss across her knuckles, before making his leave.

Jatevt just watched in silence. But smiled pleasantly.

"Something like that. I believe they were designed by hospitals to boost clientele. " Ericsson said with firm conviction. But wink to show he was teasing.

"Woah!" He grinned then made a similar gesture with his hand. The target exploded in icey shards. "The wood has water in it. Since ice expands if I just freeze the water molecules fast enough it expands too rapidly and it just falls apart." He explained.

Enoch looked at Aaran with speculation. What would a human under such an assault. They were 60% water. "Very interesting. You are a natural. Have you ever tried that aginst a living being? " He asked tentatively.

Orson smiled and moved his head slightly to accommodate her. "Hum, now that's nice." He growled.

Ashton held out the keys to the cell to Anna. "Here." She said softly.

Bertram said quietly. "But I'm not free yet. Markus still controls me by my Kelpie nature. He has my bridal. Until I get that back, I can't go with you." He explained simply.

Estelle stopped at Ashton's insistence and turned to her friend. "What's going on now?" She asked, curious and afraid, but trying not to show that last one.

Angela went to Arran and smiled a little "I can call out for you if you still want to hide your voice until we are certain of escape" She offered quietly

Kyra looked to him and smiled again "Well, we have to be careful no matter where we go, the ones who are after the shifters placed traps all over to catch us, Luois had his own traps too I think. Between those and the cameras, which I was breaking, is why it's not safe in what's left of the forest here. I don't know much of what's beyond mt borders, but I did see another forest close by"
