Ashton sighed deeply and smiled sadly. "You are a queen. You must be with your own."

Graydon thought a moment then shifted. He walked a few paces away and try to fly. If you could call what he did, flying.

"You are entirely welcome." Jatevt said with respect. He watched her as she caressed the emblem. "If you'd like to talk about them sometime, I do so love reminiscing." He said softly.

"Especially if there's money to be made. commercialism is alive and well in the world." Hesaid with humor. He then began to gather up the dishes.

Nashton held very still while Jackie did her thing. The look out the window to keep an eye on the parking lot.

"He's a kelpie, he has to have his, which Marcus currently has" Anna said then frowned a little "So long as another holds it, they have power over a kelpie, they can control him until we gt it back" She explained quickly then looked at Zypher, speaking the spell to remove his collar then doing the same for Estelle and the mermaid

"I know, but it's just mother and me at home, no one else" Estelle said then looked to Anna as she came over to remove the collar from her.

Kyra watched him quietly, wondering then looked over to a bird and back "Graydon, look at the bird, come here and watch it fly first" She said, hoping that would get him to see how it was done

"I don't really remember them. Only a few snatches here and there.I would love to hear more about them" Star said and looked at him again, smiling even though she had to wipe away a tear

Rosie nodded and stood to help him clean up. Once the dishes were done, she would go out to put sand over the remains of the coals in the grill to be sure it was fully out

Jackie looked to Taylor, going to her to repeat the process of removing the collar from her so they could break them then leave this place.

Taylor stuck her tongue out at him then pinched his nose,"Don't you go makin faces at me!"

Nashton watched as Jackie moved to Taylor.

Taylor tilted her neck so Jackie could reach the collar better through her hair.

Aaran listened, nodding. Even if he was never going to need to know this, he might as well listen. He waved his hand and all the targets on his side of the field exploded. To humor his friend he smiled,"Striking first, check. The targets never saw it coming."

Kristen sighed. She needed to toughen up and stop saying stupid things that would make him feel guilty. She took her book of spells and curled up on the couch, reading it.

Enoch nodded and smiled at Arran. He could see through his words. Aaran's was lying. He couldn't hide his subtle body language Snd the scent of the deception.. He had already known he wasn't warrior material. For one, he was too tender of heart. Elina would eat him alive and spit him back out. Not unlike a cat and mouse. Perhaps that was her facination with him. Coming out of his speculations, Enoch said, " Now try to control liquid water. See if you can make it rise from that stream over there."

Jackdaw frowned in thought and shrugged. "It usually depends on the fey. Most only count until they reach their adult age. That’s the age we stop ageing." He explained to her. He then glanced at Dawn and challenged her with, "How old do you think I am?" He puffed up and put on a overly noble face.

Degan settled down after that. Aurelius can you take the collar off? That way they can't reactivate it." He asked.

Aurelius nodded as she walked over to him to do as he has asked. She pressed the secret button in the back and it fell free.

Dawn looked up at him and smiled. "I don't do guessing games." she teased.

Aaran consented hard, but the stream just froze over then the huge block of ice lifted out of the stream and hovered above its banks,"Oops!" He let the water melt and it sloshed back into the bed of the stream. "Ah well. Not liquid water anyway."

Is having it enough to control you, otherwise does he have to touch it to do so." Something occurred to him. "That is why he locked us up in that room with you. It wasn't your hunger we needed to fear. All he'd have to do is command you to attack. Oh, what a devious mad man he is. Even now, you could turn on us and you wouldn't be able to stop it. We must lock him up. If we find this bridle, then we'll come back." He said coolly.

Bertram didn't deny it. I won't be the first time. He looked at the ground in resignation.

Ashton gasped in horror at what Zypher had said. Was it true, but then Bertram's behavior showed it was.

Graydon hurried over to watch the bird. He moved his wings slowly like the bird and it was a lot more natural. Not to mention, not as tiresome. He increased his wing beats and it worked. He was leaving the ground. He grinned a ccat like grin to her. "Are you coming? " He asked.

Jatevt pulled out his handkerchief and offered it to her. "There, there. It's hard I know. But they did what any parent would do. They saved their most precious gift. Their baby girl. They live on through you darling. I did not intend to bring you to tears." He leaned in to whisper her.

Anna frowned at that and looked down, thinking. She looked back to Bertram again and sighed "Does he have to hold it? Do you have to be able to hear his commands?" That part wasn't spoken about in the lore she knew.

Star nodded and accepted the handkerchief, quickly wiping the tears away "I know, it's just hard to think of them without remembering that day." That happened to be her clearest memory of them too. "But I want to remember more than that day"
