Degan shook his head. "Trust me on this, that will not be the case. But okay. Picture this, it was a hot dry day in Arizona. I had relocated out there to get away from Markus's father. He had it out for me. So I went to extremes. I had been flying around looking for a watering hole, when I found this oasis. So thankful for the water, I landed and hurried to the waters edge. No sooner, had I put my parched tounge to the water, I hear a cannon net fire. I was snagged and tagged. Sad but short. Impressed yet?" He asked with barely suppressed laughter.

Aeval lunched quickly into the air. She was ready to get back to the safety of the cave. Forget the hunt. She thought to herself.

Aurelius smiled happily at Rio and said, "Good, I'm relieved they are letting you live your own life. Because they had their shot. As far as my elation of been free, it is in short supply. That life was all I had to base my stand of normal. I don't really remember ever being free. I've seen it through others, but it is such a foreign concept to me. I have chosen a good group of shifters here, so in time, maybe everything will change. Because right now, I'm tterrified. I'm a half bird, half scaredy cat."

Also, don't be so scared about what's in the woods and such. Not many animals would dare fight with you in your animal form, it's very obvious you're strong." Rio told her.

Kyra chuckled and nodded "Yeah, I can braid, I think" She said then shrugged, if that's what I think it is, I've watched other shifters do that to their hair before"

Star looked to Qdoba and shook her head a little "Something simple, something that won't be dirtied too badly when I sit on the ground or in a tree" She said uncertainly. She didn't know all that much about fashion, but she did know she didn't want to give the workers more work than they already had

Rosie looked to him then smiled and dipped her head "Are you certain you don't want any help with that?" She asked gently.

The wolves stopped, glancing around then to eachother. "The cameras" Don said and made a short motion, sending the wolves out in a fan to shoot every camera they could find. 


"We will not give up until every creature you have captured is free once more, including the humans here" Anna called out with a growl.

Ember stayed close to Cadeon as they moved, stopping with the group. "I don't like this" She said quietly.

"Mother is a deep sea dragon, she's a dark blue color." Estelle answered then shivered "She was there when I woke up after we were outside again." She said then shivered and tightened her arms around herself.

Estelle looked down at the ground then back to him "I'm not so sure I want to know. What if I am? What if he made me just to find her, or if it's the opposite? What if he made her and now wants to recapture her to find out what she knows now?" She asked, stating her worries  

Graydon whipping the perspiration off his brow and said, "Thank goodness, because I was just starting to think, I was beating this thing for nothing." p He smiled happily.

Qdoba curtsied and went to the bathing chamber's doors. She slipped out to go to the wardrobe. She glanced over at the two males, as they spoke in hushed tones. She refocused on her task at hand. She quickly found a simple gown, made of a light airy fabric. It was heavily patterned with florals, so if it became soiled it would be almost unnoticeable. Qdoba nodded to Falkirk and Ender, as she went back to the bathing chamber with her find.

Both Falkirk and Ender returned the greeting.

Ericsson grinned and shook his head. "Nope, I can handle my way around some dishwater." He teased, as he headed for the kitchen.

Zypher stepped a little closer to Anna. But still managing to fighting his hyena nature of closing ranks around his alpha female.

Cadeon nodded at Ember's phrasing. "What gets me, is what are his pets? We saw the last one. That thing was brutal. Not to mention, this is too confined to fight properly. " He said to her in a whisper.

Markus shouted a few choices words. He looked at the tech, "Please tell me, the night vision cameras are still up, I want to see this." He said with conviction.

Adams nodded, "Yes sir. They are recessed into the walls, so they are not obvious. They just appear to be emergency lights." He said as he pointed to a switch.

"Good! Take out the lights. Let's make it interesting." He ordered.

Adams did as instructed. He the flipped on then cameras.

Markus smiled with demented pleasure, ad the video feed as once again active. He was very anxious to try his pets out. If things proved successful, he'd get all the funds he'd need to breed more of them. Because after all, mutts were always better then purebred. He got his walkie and ordered his pets, " Seek and destroy. And if you please me, I'll let you eat the bodies."

Ra and Anubis, charged forward eager to please their master.

(Anubis: He's as big as a Kodiak bear and his fur is so dense, it is almost impossible to penetrate. His jaws can crush anything.)

Ashton gasped as she realized it had been Estelle's mother that Markus had caught. "Oh, sweetie! I'm so sorry, but it was your mother, Markus had captured." She said softly as she moved to hug her. "You're so cold, what's the matter? " She asked, growing concerned.

Bertram watched her silently. He then asked, " Then will you stay, or will you go? Because if they find out you are the doppelganger, what will they do? What will your mother do?"

Aaran started playing around with some of them then sighed,"I was thinking something like a samurai sword. Its lighter faster and more simple than a broadsword." He picked up a sword similar to the one he was describing.

Enoch looked up interested. "You could talk to the armory master. He could forge a sword to your specifications. Well head there after training. Since you're free of servitude." He said, happy on Aaran's behalf.

Orson felt the tension drain from him. (Hey I have an idea, just to mix it up a bit. How about Orson can't shift in Kristen's body. But Kristen can shift into his Oilin form in his body. What do you think? Sound like fun? )

Aeval mapped their location by the stars. The sky was lighting, but she had got her heading. She glided to the South a bit, before she adjusted, to go West.

Raymer finished the few dishes and whipped down the counter tops again. He then hung the cloth on the side of the sink to dry. He looked over at Calystia and said, "There isn't much in the form of entertainment out here, so what did you and your sisters do to pass the time? Um, if it's not too painful to talk about." He amended his statement.

Idris eyes brightened with joy. As she took a step forward towards Sandor the door to the cell opened, and several large, muscular men rushed in. The captain walked past the men who allowed him to walk through the doorway and stood near the two shifters. "Really thought you were smarter then me, huh? Did you think I would allow you two individuals to be unsupervised? You were wrong." He smiled sly as he admired the ceiling. Idris looked up to see what he had be starring at. There were no cameras in site. Instead there was camera disguised ad a smoke detector perfectly camaflouged above the door way. "You, Sandor, have done as as I had hoped. You made Idris belief enough in herself so that she would shift. Now, I think I'll take the girl and run a few tests on her.

Anna growled as the lights went out around them. She looked around herself then shifted to her wolf form. In this form she could smell and hear better than her human one, even if she coudln't use the guns she had.

"Ones as wolves, twos as humans, we win as a team" Don said, shifting and listening to the sudden emergence of claws on the floor as half the troops shifted while the others stayed in human form to be able to use their guns still.

Ember frowned and shifted, flapping her wings to rise as high as she could, then letting her fire shine around her. She would give what light she could as she flew to highlight their new foes.

Jason kept to human form, dropping to a knee and aiming his weapon at the pets Markos had released.

Aurora went to Kristen and Orson and touched their shoulders, whispering to both "Go back to the room, that is our fallback place and we will need you there in case things go south" She said then moved back and disappeared from sight.
