Jackdaw smiled as he set down the silverware and picked up the steak. He held it up and took a bite out of it.

Degan looked over at a sound of Zia coming back.

Aeval looked to the fish going to waste. So she shifted for her sisters to have their share. Pandora and Ena ate eagerly, while Aeval laid her head down and took a much needed rest. The fight out here had took it's toll on her.

Aaran stared at him for a moment, confused,"So it's like my magic is under the command of my soul?" He fiddled with his pendant curiously.

Taylor shrugged carelessly and climbed down from the tree. Everyone was panicking. "Nashton, you might want to shift to the form that can shoot a gun." She advised.

Nisha watched, slightly angry. They had magic at their disposal to help the girl and they resorted to a wolf licking her cheek? This wasn't going anywhere!!

Kristen smiled slightly, a little ashamed of being so selfish of him,"Thanks." She patted her sides,"Ugh, I lost my gun earlier. I'll be back in a sec." She ran to the house to grab another firearm.

Enoch thought of a way to describe the magic he felt. "If the pendant was a living thing, you would have a minion spell over it. But since it's not living and is a very powerful magical element. You have control over it, instead. It is actively drawing away your powers, to control them. But it is also holding them in reserve, for you as well. This is specifically designed for you Aaran." He explained further.

Zypher walked over to Anna and Aurelius. He knelt down be beside them and watched Aurelius curiously. After a time, her tremors started to subside and her eyes squeezed tightly closed as she blinked them open. She looked around a bit confused for a moment. She then smiled up at Anna in gratitude. "Are we safe?" She asked weakly.

Orson watched her go. Then focused on the group, as the girl came back to herself.

Kristen grabbed a gun and jogged back out. Since Orson looked focused, she stayed a little bit away him. She didn't want to distract him.

As soon as Kristen came back. Orson walked over to her, to be by her side and stood there.

Aaran nodded and took a sip of his own water. For a minute there, he had thought the king had tricked him into wearing the pendant so that he could control him. He held up the pendant in the light and stared at it curiously. Now that he was looking at it carefully, he could see markings similar to the drawing.

Nisha gasped when she remembered Jeffrey,"BRB!" She jogged over to the house and opened the door,"Jeffrey?" She whispered quietly.

Jeffrey crawled father under the couch, sulking. She had yelled at him so she would suffer the consequences.

Nisha sighed when she saw a flash of red feathers under the couch and moved the couch a little bit. Jeffrey squeaked and tried to waddle away but Nisha scooped him up in her arms,"Gotcha!" She took him outside while stroking his feathers,"Good boy." She whispered.

Jeffrey stuck his head under her arm, still sulking.

Aurelius nodded slightly as she made to sit up. She felt like her body had been wrung out and shaky.

Sergio stood beside Jackie. She was ready to fight with Jackie if need be. But she was still in her human form, not her gargoyle form. It would be easier to play Jackie's daughter that way. Then if things went south, all bets were off.

Star frowned and looked outside again. "He was taller than the humans he was with. He had dark blond hair and light eyes, though I don't know the color."

Kyra smiled happily as they left the city behind, She was glad that they didn't have to stay there. It had not been the best impression on her.

Anna moved to help her stand and give her support to go to the van.

Jackie looked to Sergio then turned to go inside "We can give them a bit of protection too, while they are loading up" she said and grabbed a bag then headed for the van. She was going to put a protection spell on the van for them to be safe inside it.

Ena looked to Pandora, her sister nodded and they shifted. Aeval still asleep and Pandora's agreement, allowed Ena to be the one in control. She walked over to Dust and sat down beside him. She then leaned into him. "What's the matter Dust? Why are you so solemn?" She asked him quietly.

Keldwyn listened as Sirène ordered. When she was asked, she said, " I want this kelpie fish. I love kelp and fish. So it's a win, win." She smiled as she pointed to the picture of the food she wanted.

The waiter wrote what she wanted down, "Alright." She said and walked away. Sirène looked around, "I think most humans would be sick to know that mermaids eat seafood, since we are fish ourselves. But fish like sharks eat other sea creatures, so I don't see why they don't think it's normal." She told Keldwyn.

Fay nodded and smiled a little "that is understandable." She said then stood up and looked around "It is good there are no humans around right now."

Danica stood also and glanced around herself then back to Fay and Bellatrix "I do not think it is paranoid."
